I wanted to see this hotel as I am very interested in old architecture and the use of tiles. The road is a nightmare. My taxi was able to get to the parking and I walked up from there. On the entrance floor there was a market with old objects but I didn't see anyone working. I went up another level and around the halls but could not find an entry or a registration desk. Nor did I see a bar or lounge. It looked as if no one was home and no one was staying there. The harbor view is spoiled by heavy construction and machinery. I wouldn't stay here.
I have been traveling in Morocco for 26 days and have decided to catch up with all my hotel and restaurant reviews. With the benefit of so many places to compare, I believe my reviews reflect an accurate description of these places in the market. This hotel does have some charm, but that is more a function of the location and view. The view however is now of construction in the harbor. It is difficult to find the entrance to this large hotel. If walking, the entrance is high up from the harbor side. Not the city side - so it means always walking around the building. if driving - forget it ! I had a jeep and it was nearly impossible to navigate the road to their parking area. I suggest parking in a lot below near the harbor and walking up instead of driving. The rooms are old and not particularly nice - but the public rooms are quite interesting. Breakfast was not particularly good - but the large terrace where you can eat was beautiful. All in all, I would not stay here again, but it was an interesting experience. Beware of the location. It seems easy on the map, but it is not easy to actually get there.…
This is fair enough in term of all categories !! helpful-staff , good breakfast , most important thing of this hotel is sea front view !! it is situated on hilly top in old city / madina. This hotel actually old heritage collection!! nice lobby can see panoramic sea and city view !! there is no lift so bit may cause to older guys !! nice old semi modernise room sea front !! hotel overall clean almost all basic amenities!! good for room price no hidden agenda !! To reach Hotel gate bit messy due narrow street as it is situated in old city/ madina. recommended all to book taxi through Careem ! which comes to you hotel gate easily !! Rest seems ok and recommended to all who are looking budget heritage type hotel !!
Very nice hotel with a very good location just in front of the port and next to the historical part of the town, excellent service, very friendly staff especially josef. Thank you for your warm hospitality!
