Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Great location in the Madina. Friendly staff, beautiful decor. Room was clean, and comfortable A/C was great too!!
Fruit basket & bottled water provided in room.
Note - Shower had only cold water, but this did not impact my stay at all. I’d happily return!

The facility is kept in high standards , clean and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Love the decor : it is authentic but not heavy. Breakfast is good and you can take your diner across the alley at Yahala restaurant. Highly recommended.

As with most riads, the outside is nothing to look at, but stepping inside is fantastic. The inner courtyard with running fountain is very relaxing. Room was clean and nicely furnished. Rooftop views of the city are amazing.

LocatedI n the medina, an easy walk across the main square and up the path a bit We were served mint tea upon arrival, strawberries (sweet and yummy), banana, oranges and water were in the room. Very clean, needed to take stairs to the rooms. The guest room had multi-colored tile floor, terra cotta and beige walls, ugly rug-like bedding (bed took up the most of the room in my single other than a small table and chair), closet but no hangers, hooks on wall, rugs on floor. The heater worked well, no coffee or hot water maker in room. Tiny tiled bathroom with shower. No hot water. in shower. Sheets were pilly and mattresses very hard.

There is a beautiful rooftop terrace with an additional flight up for another outdoor level and covered terrace with tables and chairs - wonderful sunset and 360 views, prayers herad across city. You can bring your own wine (or other beverage) and they will provide glasses. Extremely friendly and helpful service

Breakfast consisted of bread, 2 jams, honey, fried egg, oj, coffee. Nice, simple, home cooked meal.

I'm not sure if this place really deserves a 3. I'm giving it a 3 because the lobby is traditional and impressive. But that's where it stops. Our room was very small, the wifi signal was sporadic, and the bathroom was absolutely two star. There were no toiletries, the toilet tank ran loudly all night, and it's the only hotel I've ever visited with shredded bathroom towels. Those towels should have been relegated to the rag pile long ago. On top of it all, the room had no windows. It had only wooden shutters that opened to an interior hallway where other guests passed within inches of your room. Basically akin to leaving your room door open to the lobby. Not recommended, Not worth the lobby. Many better places to stay.

Just a few metres from the square this is a good place from which to explore the lovely city of Meknes. The interior courtyard space is beautiful and the stairway and rooms are nicely done. The owner was friendly. Worth going up to see the view from the roof terrace but not to linger. Negatives ~ the room was dark, the bed was hard ( neither of us slept well) , breakfast doesn’t start until 08.00.

Walking up the cobble stone path I saw the hotel from the outside and thought OMG this is going to be a night mate but once we walked in it was another story all together. Breathtaking beauty & decore made it feel like I really was in Morocco. I came with a tour & they offered us exquisite mint tea on arrival then we were let to our rooms up flights of stairs. Once I walked into the room I thought "This is lovely" until I tried to sleep on the bed & it was as hard as a rock. Room was warm & turned the AC on. Didn't make much difference all night so it was uncomfortable. Didn't sleep at all. Dinner was recommended by tour guide. Epic fail! I ordered a Tagine with chicken & cous cous & it was tasteless & dry.
The only great thing about this place is the decore & the staff.
There was a market place in main square where you can purchase Tagines of all sizes.

Riad is located with the medina and the staff are very welcoming to guests. The rooms are well appointed and have all facilities available. The Riad is located close to the market area and the breakfast was well presented.

This is really a one-of-a-kind and the best one in the Maroccan tour we made. The internal agora is sublime craftmanship. The rooms are of an enormous classic grandeur, but not lacking any modern facility. (Wifi is slow though….). The kitchen is great. Both dinner and breakfast were fresh made and tastfully spiced. The distance to the central square is just 40 metres. They do not have a parking but there is a guarded public parking at some 150 metres walking distance, that will cost you 20 dirham per night.
