We missed our first flight out so stayed one less day but the manager was very understanding and didn't charge us for the extra day. The room was on a beautiful balcony and the food was delicious, we had an evening meal which was optional but well worth it, traditional and very reasonable, the breakfast each morning was lovely as...

The 'Riad' itself was nice enough, not the most pleasant we've stayed in, however it was run as a 'hotel'. Having been to many Riads in Marrakech there is a distinct difference between that and a hotel, which is why we always avoid hotels; we enjoy the personal feeling of a Riad that we've experienced previously whereby it seems 'they...

If you're looking for an hidden gem then the Riad Armelle is it. I stayed at the Armelle in 2008 and fell in love with it and Marrakech. I returned to the Armelle 8 years on unsure if my memories had over romanticise this place. I was gob smacked by what I found, I had expected that things would have...

Hospitality fabulous made to feel very welcomed. The Riad is at the edge of the Medina and is surrounded by busy street markets. A lovely place very authentic. Loved it. The rooms are spacious and clean free wifi and all amenities. No television on the premises but to be fair we didn't miss it. Loved every bit of this break....

We felt very welcome and everyone was really helpful. Also the streets outside were really authentic and we never had a bad feeling outside although being two girls. Next time we will definitely chose this Riad again!!!

I have to be honest, I do not like Marrakesh. I think it is a busy, crowded, hectic, mad place and I actually visited it so many times before (mostly because of the airport). And yet again, I had to spend a few days in Marrakesh again, this time with my family. After a while hesitating to book anything I...

I stayed here with a friend for a birthday trip. I was pleasantly surprised when arriving at this place after being dropped of in the hustle and bustle of the markets in medina. It is set back in some winding back walkways, but I was happy when I arrived. This place a little place of traditional Morocco in a clean...

As others have stated Riad Armelle is very much a little piece of tranquillity, which for us was much needed whilst in Morocco. It fair to say though that this place isn't for everyone. If your expecting a European style Hotel then its best that you go a find one as this place isn't for you. However that's not to...
