Riad location bit far from the new town but it didnt bother us too much. The way to the riad is not very pleasant . We arranged to be picked up from the airport. Otherwise difficult to find the place even to the locals. When we arrived we were given a different room to the the one we booked. After 2...

I recently stayed at the riad for 5 nights with my friend. The riad was inaccessible to our taxi transfer and was hidden away down confusing alleyways in a rough area of the city. The area was initially unnerving and the people seemed hostile, prompting us to use taxis after exploring the area on our first day. Upon arriving at...

Nice Riad but not the one we booked !!!!! We booked an airport transfer via Riad Fabiola, when we arrived at the Riad we had been taken to the Riad El Faris due to an issue with our room. Both Riads are owned by the same people but are at different sides of town. The Riad El Faris was lovely...

easy pick up from the airport late at night and walked to the riad (lucky as it is not easy to find- we got lost a couple of times). The riad is like an oasis, really pretty with water features and great roof terrace. The staff were lovely on our first night, very chatty and welcoming. At the end of...

This riad was not what we'd actually booked as we got "dropped" here by a taxi driver for an unknown problem with our booking. That said I would recommend this place. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much of a problem. They even had two very helpful and very reliable taxi drivers to call on demand (very useful when...

We really enjoyed out stay here and wish it could have been longer. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with local information. There was a beautiful sunken bath in our bathroom & a lovely rooftop terrace to enjoy. You need to appreciate that if you choose the old city to stay in, your experience will be completely different to...

Charming Riad. It consists of 3 Riad. We saw two of them and they're both nice, fresh and relaxing. They both have an amazing terrace and a cozy yard. The room is ok, the breakfast too. We had dinner too and it was very good (15€ + drink). The Riad is not easy to find but it's just 5 minutes...

If you are looking for an authentic exotic experience, El Faris is an amazing starting point for your Marrakech adventure. It is located right behind the walls of Medina, so the taxi drivers can easily locate it in otherwise narrow and winding streets of the old town. Plus, everything worth seeing is within a walking distance. The outside of the...

I recently stayed at the riad with my partner and was skeptical about leaving a review, as we have had the best holiday in Morocco, and all members of staff were lovely towards us. Unfortunately there are a few points that are worth noting about this riad. It didn't bother us as we are used to cheap holidays and are...

“We enjoyede the room at the 2nd floor - which as far as we remember was called the Vanilla room - with close access to the nice roof-top-terrasse.”
 of 5 bubbles NielsM891, 25 Jan 2015 | Read review
“A bit hit and miss as all the rooms have positives and negatives. Saffron is spacious but has very dim lighting and the heating does not work. Cumin is on the ground floor right next to the front door and has no separating door between the bathroom. Gingembre was spacious and warmed up quick but the bathroom was not the best. Canelle was beautifully decorated and Vanille is small but nicely appointed. Neither of the rooms had consistent hot water running though and all had problems with electric power cuts.”
