I can absolutely endorse and echo previous comments on Riad Mur Akush. My wife, daughter and myself had 4 nights in two of the rooms, each of which was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated in the local style. The rooftop terrace and dining area were a great experience, with views right across the city. It truly was a welcome oasis...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights in September 2011. The Riad was excellent, clean, beautifully decorated and very friendly. The staff go out of their way to be helpful. There is a beautiful roof terrace, with flower and plant, where you can have breakfast (which was the best I had in Morocco!) or just escape from the...

We have been to Riad Mur Akush in September 2011. I can say, It could not have been better. The Riad Mur Akush offers everything you need for a perfect stay in Marrakesh. The house is very clean, quiet and wonderful equipped / designed in oriental style (the pictures on the website shows that convincingly. The stuff was every time...

After a few days in the Atlas Mountains we finished off our trip to Morocco with three days in Marrakech. We wanted to stay in the Medina to get a real flavour of the city and thankfully we chose to stay in Riad Mur Akush. Truly an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the busy and hot streets. We...

During our 5 day stay in July 2011 we were practically the only guests in this lovely Riad. We were upgraded to the most expensive room at no extra cost. Rashid and his team took excellent care of us. We liked the area because it was easy wlaking distance to Jama el Fna while at same time being far enough...

We spent 4 nights at the Riad and loved every minute. It's a real little oasis in the heart of the medina! The welcome from Rashid was excellent -we loved the pastries and mint tea. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a highlight of the holiday, thanks to Mohammed who went out of his way to prepare a lovely buffet...

I cannot begin to gush about Riad Mur Akush! Tastefully done up Riad with lovely interiors and a panoramic terrace. The rooms were clean, comfortable and hygienic- the hot water and aircon-both worked fab. But what touched the chord was definitely the superior hospitality. Mohammed was not only a fantastic guide, but gave an insight into the Moroccan life. We...

Absolutely love this riad. Small, friendly, and within 15 minutes' walk of the Grande Place one way and 5 minutes from the Bab Doukkala (gate out of the medina) the other. Every room has an absolutely stunning antique door and the whole place is packed with beautiful objects. There are filigree lanterns and candles everywhere - so pretty at night...

We (myself and my mother, 30 and 64) stayed in the Riad Mur Akush for a few nights in early July, to celebrate my 30th birthday and really loved the place. Having first stayed in a brash, loud, and totally randomly located hotel outside of the Medina, it was a huge relief to move on and come to this tranquil,...
