We visited after being recommended by a local. On entry we were asked if we had reserved. We said no and were taken to a table regardless. We ordered from the set menu. The starters of soup and salad were ok. The mains however were very disappointing. The tajine and cous cous were bland and had no flavour. We had...

I've stayed in Marrakesh before and always loved the hustle and bustle of the amazing place. Riad Omar offers some peace and tranquillity, whilst only been a couple of minutes away from Jamaâ el Fna and the cities main souks. I stayed for two nights whilst trekking in the Atlas Mountains and whilst the accommodation it is fairly basic, it's...

Stumbled upon this lovely little place after talking to a local. Very reasonable priced set menu. Food was very traditional and amazing taste!.. staff were very friendly and obliging and the views across Marrakesh are amazing! Would definitely recommend for a traditional Moroccan experience!

We went here on our first night in Marrakech. The view is fantastic from the terrace and the service is ok. I really recommend The chicken tagine with Lemon. It was the best we had in all of Morocco. Most expensive meal though at 180dhm per person for the set menu.

I've been staying in Marrakech once or twice a year for the past 11 years. Always right near the medina and Jeema el Fna. It's the only place to stay !! The trick is finding somewhere that feels as though anyone bothers!! I've reviewed one place that is now a disaster for health and safety and the Riad Alamir which...

We visited in 2007. When arriving to Marrakech our hotel was sold out and a nice young man led us to this Riad. It is very conveniently located right off the Djemma el Fna and is a quiet respite to the general buzz of the town. The inner courtyard is lovely and for just 15 € / person we got...

The rooms are a bit dark, but therefore very quiet. The food is very good. We booked an all-inclusive service as we used the hotel as start and end point of our Moroccan expedition - 2 adults, 10 teenagers.

Not the poshest of places, but staff, price and location are all superb. It is excellent value, we stayed an additional night on our return to fly back to the UK and will go again when passing through Marrakech. Location is excellent. The complimentary mint tea and biscuits (even in Ramadan) on arrival were very welcome. Rooms offer plenty of...

On my second visit to Marrakech, I had to come back to this restaurant. One menu for two people at 180 dirhams with starter one main dish, water, fruit, tea and cakes included is plenty. It's difficult to say if it's cheap or expensive, we pay European prices but I totally recommend the place, I think is good price for...
