We stayed at this Riad and our experience was terrible. Our room was noisy, damp cold and filthy. The staff could not give two hoots about anyones complaints and simply ignored our patient wish to be acknowledged and the problems we experienced. If you go to this Riad you will not be refunded at all under any circumstances for what...

The riad is situated in the heart of the medina. When we arrived we had someone waiting for us to take our suitcases and take us to the Hotel. As we came in the reception girl welcomed us and offered a welcome tea and some pastries while they prepared the room for us.The Hotel also has an amazing SPA where...

My friend and I spent three days here on our first trip to Marrakesh. The stay was spectacular. The riad is gorgeous and relaxing with a lovely rooftop. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and filling.

Fantastic experience, great breakfast, comfortable rooms, great ambience! It is a walk from Jemaa el Fna which is actually great since it gives you a sense of being out of the touristic path but still close to everything. The Spa is brand new and very comfortable. I don't usually write reviews but I fell the El Jazira deserves all the...

I visited multiple Riyads during my stay in the city, but this one was so special, different.. unique! The staff? They are so lovely yet professional, the desk is 24/7 open, they offer you free Moroccan tea whenever they see you working or chilling out in the lobby or the pool. The rooms are old! yes old, but clean and...

We reserved through the owner's site (they own 8 riads and a restaurant) and were asked to pay the full amount up front. Explanation was that we're getting the 'non-refundable' rate. We arrived today around 4pm to a freezing cold room. While waiting for the technician we tried finding any heated space in the riad. No success. 3 hours latter,...

The staff were so accommodating! Nothing was too much for them.. I had hired the whole Riad for my 50th birthday for a week with 35 guests. Considering that we were mostly a gay group, in a country that frowns upon homosexuals, we never felt intimidated by the staff and they went out of their way to make me and...

We stayed at Riad Al Jazira for a good friends 50th birthday and had the whole riad. It was amazing! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. It's a hidden gem. The only criticism is that the wifi could be faster.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
15 spotless, blisteringly white guestrooms are hidden behind heavy wooden doors and layers of linen drapes. Airy central covered courtyards have comfy seating areas: red rugs on golden brick floors, leafy palms over wooden chaises and – spectacularly – a colonnaded swimming pool in a setting reminiscent of great Carthage. Colourful accents are provided by red or purple cushions and kilims, and artfully arranged rose petals. We like this riad. ... more   less
