Just wanted to thank everyone at TUI BLUE Medina Gardens!! Can not fault anyone or anything! We started off in the 4th floor room with a lovely views of Marrakesh and magical sunsets!! 🌅😍 On our last few days we wanted to upgrade to have a jakuzzi and with little help of managers magic wand we ended up in a room 1316!!! WOWw!! Mahooooosive balcony, private double sunbed, hot tub and amazing views of Medina Gardens and Mosque of Jemaa el-Fnaa ❤❤ Thank you sir! The grounds and hotel is beautiful. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The food was lovely - hence extra 3kg gained, at least!!😆 We also had a hammam and the Oriental Package in the SPA - which we totally enjoyed. We felt looked after by everyone, housekeepers, waiting on staff, bar staff, receptionists, TUI Reps and management. PS An extra thank you to our lovely Soukaina, Ismail, Mrs H (so sorry for forgetting your name), Cherith, Alicia and Emma for going above and beyond!! 💕💕💕You guys are making this place even more magical!!!💕💕💕 ❤Love to you's all❤ PPS A cash machine on site would be very very helpful

We had an excellent week In marrakech staying at Medina gardens! The hotel is kept beautifully clean and the staff are fantastic. The buffet restaurant provides great choice and everything is very fresh. Only a ten minute walk into the main square and a cute little mall right outside the main entrance. They keep to covid regulations very well, masks in the restaurants was enforced, entertainment finished at 11pm and cleaners do a fantastic job. Tiny issue with sun beds - i was usually down for breakfast around 7.30 and most sun beds would already have been ‘claimed’ - with most owners not arriving at the pool until after 10am. This is of course the guests and no fault of the hotel (who on the third day of our stay came around and removed all the towels at around 8am), but still a bit frustrating! The gardens are lovely and peaceful. Value for money cannot be beaten. Overall we had an amazing stay and are already planning to return next year :)

When you first arrive in the street outside this hotel it doesn’t look inspiring, but wait ! as soon as you go inside things start to look much better. What you find is a smart and clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The whole complex is small so easy to find your way around. It’s also fairly tranquil considering you’re in the middle of a city, you hear the occasional siren or traffic horn, and of course, the many calls to prayer, but apart from this, it really is pretty quiet. Regarding meals, there is usually a good selection on the buffet (note : when we visited in September the only requirement to wear a mask anywhere in the hotel was for the collection of food from the buffet). There was also a 9pm Curfew where all the Bars and Restaurants had to close. My wife is disabled, so we’d asked for a room close to all the amenities so she didn’t have to walk too far. We were given a room close to reception but even this was up a set of steps. The access to the lifts for the main building was up a set of steps. The hotel is built on various levels, so basically every change of area means, either a set of steps, a slope or ramps. As there are ramps, wheelchair users are well catered for, but anyone with reduced mobility, or a balance problem, will have an issue with both the steps, or the slope of the ramps. The weather was lovely, cool first thing at breakfast time (18C) quickly warming up to 28C by lunchtime and 32C+ in the afternoons. The hotel is 10 –15 minutes transfer from the airport. Would we return? No I don’t think so, because of the steps. Would we come back to Morocco? A definite Yes. Would we recommend this hotel to others? A definite Yes.

The hotel itself is beautiful, it is well decorated, modern, but traditional, clean, tidy and well kept. The grounds allow you to sunbathe in many places and we honestly didn’t struggle with any sunbed wars - being late risers “our spot” was available everyday at 10am. Although there is only a limited number of them that you see every day, the staff work very hard and the service is great. This includes the TUI entertainment team of Alicia and Cherith, your not pressured to join in anything you don’t want to and we loved the Moroccan cooking lesson 🧑‍🍳 The food is delicious with a great range of fresh and delicious food all day! The bars have a drinks menu with cocktails, beer and wines, with coffee also available all day. Our only complaint was that there seemed to be a shortage of glassware which left the staff often running around just for a glass, they also regularly ran out of bits and bobs for drinks that meant you would be sent to other bars to get a drink. All credit due, I complained to the bar manager after a few days of no Tobasco for my morning Bloody Mary and he hadn’t been informed, within hours, Tabasco was back on the bar and didn’t run out again! All in all an amazing holiday and we would happily return! My top tips are: 1. The Jacuzzi rooms on the ground floor are facing the restaurant so you unfortunately have to all the curtains closed for privacy 2. The towels are a bit small so if you like to cover your whole sun bed bring you own as well 3. If you aren’t in a rush for your food, eat at the snack bar every lunch rather than the buffet, the food is delicious and the service is great!
