Overall a lovely stay. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We arrived late as our flight did not arrive until 10pm. We were very hungry and unfortunately there was no food because of the time. They called us a cab which took us to a traditional Moroccan restaurant. The next morning we tried to walk to the Souks from...

The Riad is located on the far side of the Medina and not in the easiest location to find. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and offered some mint tea and some cakes/biscuits then showed to our room. Having stayed in Riads before it was as I would expect to find it. The room was well decorated and...

We have just returned from a four night break in Marrakesh and stayed here. The riad is located in real authentic local area of the town that is lively and reflects the hustle and bustle of the city. At first the area came as a bit of a shock, but I'm not really sure what we were expecting. Inside the...

Having not visited Marrakech before, I looked at various options, chose a riad, and after some comparing, settled on the Jardin D'Abdou. It is about 15 minutes' walk from the centre, after walking straight down the Derb el Makina, and either walking through the busy Rue Sidi Boulabada, or the quieter Rue Douar Graoua (but beware those telling you the...

Very nice riad with the best tea service I've had in Morocco in two months. Good restaurant. It's a fair walk to the square. WiFi was spotty as it seems to be everywhere in this part of the medina. It was a quieter part of town.

If you would like an authentic experience in Marrakech, staying in a beautiful Riad in a vibrant working class location, then look no further. Our 20-30 minute walks to and from the souks each day became the highlight of our stay. Seeing the local people go about their daily routines, from school children gatherings outside the school yard, to tailors...

Our recent stay at Le Jardin d'Abdou could not have been more perfect. The staff were warm, welcoming and extremely helpful, making it easy to use this location as a base for exploring other areas as well. The Riad, itself, is exquisite. We enjoyed several fireside dinners, all of which were fabulous. As other reviewers note, given Le Jardin's location...

Most amazing, peaceful and romantic Riad in town!! Would never go anywhere else when returning to Marrakesh. Positioned in a local area away from the tourists - which is great! You experience the real Marrakesh and is still walking distance (15 mins) from the main square, souks and tourist attractions. When the door of the Riad opened and we stepped...

Such a beautiful, friendly riad 😊 really helpful staff, which had great recomendations for city guide, spa, places to eat etc etc. and always with a friendly smile and no hurry. I truly miss this place! Both Marrakech and the riad. Thank you 💗
