First trip to Marrakech. Arrival was extraordinary, endless twists and turns through a totally authentic part of the town. Walking through the entrance of the Riad you are overwhelmed by a sense of tranquility. This set the tone for our stay. Hustle, bustle and excitement around town and absolute peace and calm at Dar Zaman. Hassan from the Riad is...

Having just returned from Dar Zaman with 4 girlfriends flying in from around the world I had to write to commend Peter and his team. Nothing was too much trouble from accommodating and picking up a friend arriving the night before the group arrived, to wonderful Hass who took care of us every day, booking taxis, giving directions, getting shopping...

We were very impressed with this riad. We had considered staying in a large hotel but opted for Dar Zaman thinking it would be a more authentic experience - and we are very glad we did. The riad is a quiet haven away from the busy streets, yet it is within easy walking distance to most things. Hassan gave us...

After much research for the perfect place to stay as a starting point to visit Marrakech, we were impressed with all the good reviews of Dar Zaman. We had a nice email exchange with Peter the owner and the decision was made. From then on, it was one good surprise after another: effective transfers, Hassan's care and attention, Kabira's food...

Situated right in the heart of the city, just a few pokey roads off the main road, this beautiful and welcoming Riad had everything that anyone could want. Although small in riad standards (only four bedrooms - we had the place to ourselves which was amazing!), it's views of the atlas region, and lovely roof garden make for a great...

Peter's Riad Dar Zaman was our home during our one month visit to Morocco. The location is perfect in the Medina. It is a beautiful romantic place (candles are everywhere at night). After being picked up from the airport, Peter and Hassan took the time to brief us properly to make sure that our stay will be an enjoyable experience...

Very relaxed and friendly riad. Lovely decor throughout. Nothing is too much trouble for Peter and his charming staff. Candlelit by night, home-made yoghourt in the morning, delicious evening meal if you choose to dine in - I would recommend this riad to my friends without a doubt.

Having been recommended to Marrakech and Dar Zaman by friends, we felt confident that we were going to love it and boy did we! The Riad is beautiful, clean and so, so quiet. Once in the peaceful haven of the Riad, it is hard to believe that you are in the heart of the old town, which is bonkers, but...

What can we say/? Lots and lots.... A truely lovely place to stay. We were really well looked after by Peter, the owner (great advice on directions, what to do, or not to do!!!) Also Hassan who was always there to arrange anything we wanted with his big smile and calm and friendly manner. Also to Kabira...what a fab lady...

This Riad is in the center of the medina and is an oasis of quiet and good taste. We had our 7 year old son with us and he was warmly welcomed. The cooking at this Riad is spectacular and much better than even the large luxury hotel we stayed in when we first arrived in the city. I strongly...
