We stayed for 3 nights last month. This Riad is within a very tired part of the city but when you get inside it is a retreat from the hustle and bustle in the streets. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the Souks. There are only 5 rooms, they are clean, very comfortable and each one is different.... More

Disappointed with this Riad, we paid €100 per night for 3 nights and consider this to be poor value. The room was basic, beds had cheap plastic mattress covers, the bathroom had an overpowering smell of drains and there was a lot of noise from staff. We are well travelled and not over demanding, however the basic needs of the... More

I stayed at the Dar Elma for 3 nights with my daughter Sept 14 and was not disappointed, a little peace of heaven tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. The accommodation was beautiful and very clean. It's very small and personal like staying in someone's home and you get a real feel for the culture but... More

We stayed here for a week and on 3 days we didn't leave the Riad as it was so lovely. The rooftop is stunning and provides a great place to relax after the busy streets of the city. The staff were wonderful, always there to help. We went half board and the food was delicious- very good value for money... More

Staying at the Dar Elma was a very good experience. We got wonderful service - especially Khadija was outstanding - she really went beyond any of our expectations when we needed her help. The rooms were charming, nicely decorated and very clean. The riad is centrally located - if hard to find - but we asked their driver to pick... More

We spent two nights at the Riad. The service was superb and the facility was very clean and tidy. From picking us up and delivering us our every need was attended to with courtesy and helpfulness. One evening we had our dinner prepared for us and delivered to the roof top terrace. A great meal and a wonderful experience. We... More

We stayed for 4 nights at the Dar Elma and went half board, the food was very good and the ladies working in the Riad were very friendly. The only bad point about this riad is that you can hear everything, we spoke in whispers at night as to not disturb the other guests, you can hear everything so if... More

We stayed there a couple of nights during our visit to Marrakesh last year. The service was good, they picked us at the airport ( which youhave to request in advance and pay an extra) which was awesome as we arrived at midnight and they offered us fresh mint tea upon arrival to the hotel.. the room was clean and... If you stay at Dar Elma or its sister property L'heure d'Ete you will certainly meet Hassan. He's the one with the big smile. He speaks good English, is charming and personable, and has a great sense of humor. He divides his time between the two properties and is one of the friendliest and most helpful people I encountered during... More

This riad is beautifully presented, and the hospitality of the staff was very warm and welcoming. It is located in the medina of Marrakech, the old city. By staying here we were simultaneously immersed in the daily lives of Morrocans while having a peaceful oasis to stay in. The staff, especially Hadija, made our stay exceptional. Nothing was too much... More
