Les Borjs de la Kasbah was the perfect hotel to relax and unwind in the crazy city of Marrakech. The staff are extraordinarily helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself is located in Kasbah (just outside of the old city walls) and accessible to cabs. It is a good location for sight-seeing (they can also arrange reasonable car services to get... Lovely traditional but stylish Riad, in an interesting area just a short walk from the centre of Marrakesh. This was a perfect, relaxing end to an energetic holiday. Very comfortable rooms, lots of quiet corners to relax and the luxury of a pool and spa where you can enjoy high-quality traditional hammam or massage. Very good breakfast and charming staff.... We visited this hotel to use the pool on our final day in Marrakesh. We were made to feel very welcome by all of the staff including the director. To use the pool it costs 100MAD which was much cheaper than other options.

I'm very pleased that you were made to feel welcome by myself and the rest of our team. A nice relaxing day by our pool with a meal and a few drinks is definitely a good way to prepare for a flight! We are, in fact, cheaper than other places in the Medina with decent sized pools (as opposed to... More

My two friends and myself have just returned from a fantastic three night stay at this beautiful Riad. Although just 15 mins walk from the central Medina and busy bustling Souks the minute you walk through the door of Les Borjs you are transported into a world which is a blend of traditional Moroccan and European culture. The quality and... More

What a heart-warming review! Thank you very much. I will be showing all the staff this and other recent reviews on the big screen at our next staff meeting this week. They will all, I know, be genuinely happy to hear that their efforts are appreciated (even though they've been told this many times!) Thank you also for mentioning me... More

My friend and I just stayed here for 3 nights in late September and really enjoyed our stay! We stayed in a suite and found the room to be very comfortable (including living area and large bathroom). My family and I spent a few days at this hotel and I will gladly recommend to anyone who will be visiting Marrakech. It boasts of a great location right in the heart of the Kasbah and is right in-between a Riad and a resort. You have all the amenities without losing the cozy feeling of a boutique hotel. I... More

Staying here was a memorable experience. Nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Nora who reorganised a couple of tours after Sahara Tours International cancelled as I was the only participant - which my travel agent has subsequently said was unjustified. The hotel is a quiet oasis. Rooms are beautiful . The pool is great. It is a 15... More

My husband and I had an excellent stay at the Les Borjs for 4 nights. We were in suite 107, quiet, spacious and romantic. Located close to the souks (15-20min walk) Les Borjs is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle, yet accessible from all major tourist spots on foot or short cab ride. Believe the pictures, the hotel... More

We just finished a 4 day stay at Les Borjs de la Kasbah, and had a fabulous experience there! Like other riads in Marrakech, you enter from a typical local bustling street, into a virtual oasis of tranquility. What a service, the people really make the difference in this beautiful and authentic ryad. It is never too much, too late, too early. Coming from these hectic little medina streets entering this ryad means an oasis of charming quietness and luxery. Great experience. All food is always prepared at time of ordering. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Les Borjs de la Kasbah is a charming boutique hotel (opened in 2007) combining all the character of a traditional riad with the modern comforts and professionalism of a luxury hotel. Adjoining two borjs (defensive towers), the hotel stands at the southern edge of the walled city, close to the royal palace, a 15-20 min walk through the kasbah from the Place Jemaa. There are 18 rooms, 3 lounges, a bar, restaurant and meeting room, all with free internet access. In a separate, secluded part of the complex there is also a 10m swimming pool (a rarity in the kasbah), with poolside bar, and a spa with traditional hammam, treatment rooms and sauna. ... more   less
