This is a very late review - we travelled in April 2015 not '16, so apologies for the lateness. This was our accommodation for 10 days. We had the roof terrace room and we really could not have asked for more. We travelled here on recommendation from friends and were not in the least bit disappointed. Our room was elegant... More

There are many lovely Riads hidden away in the Medina but we were so pleased with our choice. Michael & Michel have created a wonderful, tasteful, relaxing environment behind a tiny front door that gives no clue as to what lays beyond. Michael was there to meet our taxi & guide us to the Riad , that first walk seemed longer... More

Stunning place , only 10 minutes walking from the main souk area lovely, clean room, stunning views and very good food Michael and his team were so welcoming and made our stay unforgettable we loved the tasteful choise of furniture and the fact that you could step out straight into the busy and "crazy" maroccan life

A friend stayed here 10 years and recommended it to me when I was looking for a short break to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It's a beautiful riad tastefully decorated serving lovely food. The staff are extremely helpful and appropriately attentive. I recommend without hesitation as a super base to explore Marrakesh and a day trip to the Atlas Mountains.

We stayed at Riad al Massarah for 3 nights and can't rate it highly enough; great design, great Staff and just a very relaxing place to chill out after exploring the city. We arrived at the Riad after a very long journey and took advantage of the Hammam before eating at the Riad the first night, both of which we... More

We stayed in Riad Al Massarah in September 2016. Right after the peak season of summer. David, the manager, was helpful since the booking all through the check out. He gave a clear information on Marrakesh, the Riad, and events (It was Ied El Kabir celebration in the week before our arrival). David arranged our transfers from the train station,... More

We stayed in Riad Al Massarah in August. We loved it from the moment we walked through its doors: a peaceful, beautifully decorated riad in the north of the medina: warm, welcoming, extremely thoughtful staff, the small pool in the courtyard, wonderful to cool down in after or during a hot summer day. Staff takes their environmental responsibility very serious,... More

I cannot rate Riad Al Massarah highly enough. From the communication prior to my arrival, to everyday of my stay, I received first class service. Michael and Michel have created an oasis of calm in the centre of Marrakesh and it is the perfect location and environment to explore the rest of the city from. My trip was a combination... More

A Riad is a Riad ! But Al Massarah is more than just a Riad, it's a peaceful genuinely designed heaven in Marrakech!! Part of the great experience we had: Michael! He is the lovely friend we ignored we had in Marrakech!! What makes the design wow, is a great balance between Moroccan identity with subtle contemporary touch!! Great breakfast,... More

This is definitely the hotel to stay at during your visit to Marrakech, our hosts were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful to the upmost. They gave us in depth knowledge of shops and which restaurants to eat at and have a lovely balcony and pool to rest away from the chaos of the Marrakech markets.
