The Riad was our first hand experience of local Marrakech. We stayed three nights here. The welcome area downstairs was fine. Decent space. You can't get here alone and have to rely on the porter. The rooms we got was very small. I was shocked actually as it ws quite crammed and so was the bathroom. The smell in reception...

Well run Riad close to the main square. Clean rooms and nice rooftop for breakfast, lounging, evening glass of wine or jacuzzi. Sanna in the reception and all the rest of the staff are very helpful and polite. Great stay!

Great location and amazing staff!! Everyone that works at the Riad will go out of their way to help you and make you feel at home! It is located just a few minutes away from the main Jemaa el-Fnaa square, so you do not have far to walk to be where the action is, however it is in a little...

The taxis at the airport will always try and overcharge. Try not to pay more than 150Dh. Try and arrange someone from the hotel to come and collect you as the Riad is location bang middle of all the action! It takes half a day to get used to the location of the Riad. But after that it's amazing! Room...

We were there for 2 nights during a stay in Marrakech. The staff was friendly and the service was good (we only used the restaurant for breakfast). The room we had, however, was very small and so was the bed ( 140cm / 55" for two) . We didn't think it was worth the cost. It was clearly a mistake...

If you want to know the true Marrakech of centuries past, you have to stay in La Medina, and the Riad L'Heure de L'Ete is like an Oasis only 5 minutes walking from the amazing square Jamaa El Fna. We thank all the staff of the Riad for the pleasant treatment and the magnificent attention. From the gentleman who helped...

I expected more when i arrived. It is not really a romantic and beautiful riad. The construction itself has nothing exciting, rather a usual house with a patio and a rooftop. The rooms are rather dark and small. The breakfast was in the rooftop in a tent and it was relatively cold in winter time. Service was friendly, but not...

All the staff of the riad "L'heure d'été" thank you for your stay in our guest house. We come to know your comment, we are sincerely sorry that the architectural style of our house did not please you, indeed there are more than 1000 riads in Marrakech and each one can find its style. But our photos are a real...

We stayed here for 4 nights. Riad is very traditional and clean. Location is a excellent. A 2 minute walk to the main square. We got a transfer from the hotel because finding it alone if your not familiar with the country can be difficult. We got a lovely welcome with some Mint tea and was provided with a map...

The staff could not have been more helpful, it is not expensive, is very clean and extremely welcoming. Rashid is the "go to" person for any info and assistance. We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this Riad.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It is in the fascinating shrine of the Medina, sheltered from too much modernity, that you will find this welcoming house that was a traditional Marrakchi family mansion until 2006It took 2.560 trips by donkey drawn carriage to bring all the new materials needed to renovate the house and make a dream come true. But all our efforts have been rewarded and l'Heure d'Eté is now a lovely ryad proud to combine the discreet comfort of stylish modernity with the best of age-old Moroccan traditions. 13 rooms and a suite are distributed on three different levels around a glass-roof patio-lounge that can be opened at will to enjoy the best of the season.L'Heure d'Eté is located in the vicinity of Jemaa el Fnaa Square (3 minute walk) and will provide you with all the expertise and comfort you need to enjoy the unforgettable beauty of the red city. ... more   less
