This is my first ever review: this beautifully furnished riad and the hospitality of its staff deserve all the praise I could possibly lavish on them. Greeted by mint tea and cookies upon arrival, we were immediately upgraded to a bigger room with a sublime spa-kind shower room for the first two nights. Make sure you have at least one...

We spent the last night of our week-long trip in Morocco at the Dar Attajmil, before flying back home. Although we enjoyed our other accommodations, we wish we could have spent more time exploring all this Riad had to offer. The common areas were very relaxing, and our room was clean and comfortable. We had some difficulty communicating with the...

We travelled to Marrakech as two families with four children between 10 and 14. Dar Attajmil was perfectly situated in the medina to allow us to wander around the busy souk and famous square Jemaa El-Fnaa but still not be far from this lovely oasis when the kids had had enough. It felt like we were seeing the real Marrakech....

Dar Attajmil is situated in authentic settings of old Marrakech and is like an oasis in the middle of the buzzing souq. The staff speak both english and french and are sweet and helpful people. My friend and I shared a double room - beautiful interior and very clean. Great, tasty and variated breakfast. Marrakech is well-known for its many...

We were just about to change our flights back to Rome after being booked into a Riad that turned out to have moved to be located in the deep recesses of Marrakech Medina's north. From the clutches of dodgy staff and a low quality riad where truth was the first casualty of our stay. We escaped with our day packs...

This the second time we have stayed at this beautiful tranquil riad in the heart of the Medina although you can'ttell when you are sat on the roof terrace drinking a glass of wine. We were the only guests and felt totally spoilt, we cannot wait to come back for a third time. We brought our 12 year old son...

We spent two nights in this enchanting little Riad. Placed in the center of the Medina of Marrakesh, it allowed us long hours of strolling around the city finally returning to this little nice place just walking. The personnel was very, very friendly and supportive. We would definitely recommend this place: there is no comparison with any of the big...

This Riad is perfectly located for visiting Jamna el Fna. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and the patio stayed cool even on the hottest days (our hottest day was more than 40 Celsius). After exploring the hectic and lively streets of Marrakech it's been always very relaxing to return to the calm and peaceful patio. We can...

This was our first time in Marrakech and we chose Dar Attajmil based on TripAdvisor reviews - it was an absolutely wonderful stay. As many others note, it's the perfect oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city - as we were out exploring the city we would reach a point where all we wanted to do was return...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Charming Riad right in the heart of old Marrakech. 4 rooms only and a large garden terrace with hammam. Excellent location, central, safe and easy access. Cosy feel and special mentions for the way it's cared for and the surprising cuisine. Last, but not least, the excellent price for what it has to offer. The riad offers an interesting cooking experience with its chef, with shopping in the old food market of Bab Doukkala. ... more   less
