This place is a real gem. An oasis of peace in the hustle & bustle of Marrakech life. I was really surprised at how quiet and peaceful it was. If you want to drink yourself silly and party till you drop, this place is not for you. However, if you want to experience a real taste of something unique, then...

First time to Marrakech, not too sure what to expect. Went with Thompson Holidays to the Riad dar Sbihi. Couldn't have been more pleased. A cool peaceful oasis to return to after the noise and buzz of the souks. Saad and Sibylle were the perfect hosts and great fun. Could not do enough for you. They organized trips and drivers...

As per most of the other reviews this is a charming Riad - maintained to an excellent standard with an eye for detail. The owners and their staff quite rightly take pride in this lovely building and the service is welcoming and friendly - they will aim to meet every need. We ate at the riad on a couple of...

My wife and I travelled to Marrakech with the excellent Thompson Holidays and chose Riad Dar Sbihi based on yes, Trip Adviser. I knew the city was famously unchartable and had read the tales of many lost tourists, quickly picking up the knowledge that this Riad was owned by the very trusting and knowledgable Saad & Sibil. Arriving in the...

What an excellent holiday at this Riad. Sited in the northern part of medina only 20+ minutes from the Jemaa El Fna square, although as Cybille pointed out, the first time will take a couple of hours. The Riad is as you see in the photographs, each room is uniquely designed & decorated, oozing with character. Cybille & Sa'ad are...

A truly wonderful and rare experience. Calm and serenity in the middle of the busy, bustling and unique northern part of the Medina. Birds, sounds of water and the periodic call to prayer replaced the sounds of the Souk and everyday comings and goings of the city. Cibille and Saeed were a joy, welcoming everyone into their home and nothing...

Many will I am sure be tempted to stay in a modern characterless hotel in the newer part of Marrakesh. However, if you are looking for a more genuine experience of the hectic time warp that is the Medina then this Riad is pretty well placed especially when taking a taxi home late at night. Previous commentators have described the...

This Riad at the Northern end of the medina is a jewel. From the ridiculous noise and energy of Marrakech to the sublime of peace, calm and tranqulity when you walk through the door of this Riad. The owners Sybille and Saeed will do all they can to make your stay as relaxing as possible. They will arrange guides and...

A unique experience. From the moment we stepped through the door of Riad Dar Sbihi the noise and stress of the Medina was replaced by birdsong and fountains. The owners, Cybille and Saeed, are charming and nothing is too much trouble. You must eat at the Riad at least one night of your stay, the traditional Moroccan fayre is very...
