Made to feel very welcome by Laurent, Muriel and the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and all very helpful! Laurent sat down with us on our arrival and spent a long time talking through what he would recommend doing and what to expect to pay (which was very useful). Riad itself was beautiful, attention to detail was great. Lovely...

Marrakech is a fantastic city and Riad Dar Dialkoum is the perfect way for a couple to enjoy it. As other reviewers have mentioned, the Riad felt like an Oasis within the Old City walls of Marrakech. The area it is situated in is quiet and about a 10-15minute walk to the Souks. Plenty has been said about how nice...

What can I say about Marrakesh? To summarise; it's utter chaos, absolutely crazy, colourful, malodourous, very noisy but all in all an amazing city. In contrast we had the opportunity to escape the mayhem and return to our beautiful Riad to sit on the roof terrace sipping a local beer or mint tea shaded by orange trees and mimosa. An...

It's been said so many times but it's all true Riad Dar Dialkoum is a very special place in the hands of Muriel and Laurent. They go out of their way to guide you through the Marrakech experience like a kindly aunt and uncle. The Riad is a little hard to find but it's quiet back-street locations is still minutes...

We arrived in Marrakech from Essaouira in mid-April, and with little trouble, made our way to this special boutique hotel, located in the Northwest part of the old city. Like many of the riads we visited in Morocco, some of the seemingly "questionable areas" often hold some of the nicest riads. When we arrived back at this riad at the...

We had a great stay at Riad Dar Dialkoum, though I can't express how happy I was to have a driver pick us up at the airport - we would probably never have found the riad otherwise! Both of the owners were wonderful, as were all of their recommendations. Breakfast was great, and it was also lovely to have fresh...

Friendly people (Muriel and Laurent) are more than hotel managers. They are wonderful advisers and can be very helpful in planing and organising eather the visit of Marrakech ore even the ongoing trips through Marocco. And no matter how hot and chaotic the streets of Marrakech are, entering the hotel door, you feel cool, safe and relaxed. And kids will...

It was delightful to be picked up from the airport and driven to the riad. Laurent greeted us, offered us mint tea and patisseries and discussed with us how we could make the best of our 8 night stay. Our room was delightful and overlooked the orange trees of the patio below where we took most of our meals. Due...

The Riad Dar Dialkoum (your home) is a Boutique Hotel located in the picturesque and authentic district of Bab Doukkala, within 10 to 20 minutes walking from the main attractions of the medina and the new town. This very old traditional house of the late nineteenth century was restored in the purest Moroccan tradition in 2002, then enlarged and refreshed in 2009 by the new owners, Muriel & Laurent. Haven of peace, the Riad Dar Dialkoum includes 4 rooms and 3 suites, all decorated in different and elegant styles, 2 patios with fountains, one with heated pool, 2 terraces with flowers, trees and solariums, a pergola and a Berber tent, 4 lounges, 1 with Satellite TV, and a dining room. Our Chef will spoil you with the cuisine, legacy of secrets of the tradition of several generations. She will offer you a variety of dishes with subtle and refined flavors, elaborated with the best fresh products from the market. The dinner will be served at the glow of the candles on the terrace, in the patio, near the pool or in the lounges, as you prefer. ... more   less
