The Riad Dar El Aila is a beautiful peaceful retreat off the beaten track. We stayed for 3 nights and were very well cared for. Nothing was too much trouble and a special thanks to Said who took us in his own time to the Jardin Marjorelle. Our room was spacious clean with a deep bath with plenty of hot... More

Riad Dar El Aila is a fantastic retreat from the hustle and bustle of beautiful and crazy Marrakech. Everything was brilliant. The photographs don't do it justice, it's stunning. Amazing rooms (we had the chance to have the suite for one of the nights at no extra cost....WOW!). The roof terrace is stunning, great for a glass of wine, watching... More

This Riad is very traditional and the staff very attentive. We wanted for nothing, except perhaps for a lift ! We visited with my elderly father whose knees struggled with the stairs. Our room was very basic, not enough storage space if you are staying for more than 5 days! We also know that a couple of visitors had a... More

We (15 people) stayed 5 nights at Dar El Aïla, Marrakech, and I have the following remarks: Overall, we had a very pleasant stay: The riad was well worth the price, and the staff were really kind and accommodating. Minor flaws were the fact that some rooms did not have hot water (despite several repair attempts), and some of my... More

I visited with my mother and we had a great stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was nice and clean. There was a bit of noise at night time, but that is only to expect in the middle of Marrakech. So just bring some earplugs. The restaurant was fine as well, and it was nice... More

Food lovely, breakfast could be better with good bread or pastries or egg. Staff very friendly and helpful, lovely massage very relaxing. Booked a tour to the mountains highly recommended. The authentic experience started as soon as I had cleared immigration and customs at RAK. The riad had arranged for me to be collected from the airport without mentioning the means of identification. When I entered the arrivals hall there must have been about 100 taxi/limo drivers milling around with pieces of paper in their hands showing badly-written names of... More
