Well, this is not my first stay in this splendid boutique hotel in the medina of Marrakech and it is definitely not my last... It was not easy for me to find it at the first time, but with a little help from a local I realized it was not far from where I was. "WOW..." was my first reaction...

Picking a hotel out of one of the guide books is sometimes a negative experience, but in this case it provided an excellent result. When we arrived we were met by a very friendly receptionist. He kindly offer us a delicious cup of mint tea while our room was being readied. Our room was clean and cosy, facing to the...

There really is no better place to slow down after a daytrip in hectic Marrakech-Medina ! Perfect location : once you close the entrance door you enter an extremely relaxing and quiet place, although it's situated at the noth side of the central Souks, and a 15min walk takes you through the Souks to the main square Jemaa el Fna....

We had a great stay in Dar Soukaina and were so pleased with the calm and very kind staff who were so hospitable and friendly that it was always a welcoming change from the more aggressive hustle and bustle of the souks. I would absolutely reccommend anyone staying here - each room is unique and so we stayed in two...

My husband and I had a four day break in Marrakesh and found the holiday an 'interesting experience'. The guys in the Dar could not have been more helpful and attentive. The accommodation was so peaceful and cool after spending time in the square and soukes, it became our haven to relax away from the hustle and bustle. They showed...

This is a super Riad in the heart of the city. It is a tranquil haven amidst the frenetic bustle of Marrakech! Staff are very attentive and speak some foreign languages. We were fortunate to be able to choose our rooms and chose Cannelle and Curry. Both were en-suite, and beautifully decorated throughout. Cannelle looks out over the serene courtyard...

Dar Soukaina has 3 houses. We stayed in 2 of the houses both beautiful and peaceful. We had issues with flight delay and staff went out of their way to help us; calling the airport etc. We have enjoyed our stay in Marrakech but the hustle and bustle is not to be underestimated: therefore staying in a peaceful riad with...

The riad is in a very good location. About 15 minutes walk from the main square. Lovely and cool after the bustle of the medina and the souk. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast. One minor criticism is that we were asked on the last morning to pay in cash for our stay which we were...

After overcoming the initial challenge of locating Dar Soukaina after dark it became a home from home, a tranquil refuge from the frenetic activity of the Souks. Omar and his staff took good care of all our needs and gave good advice on places to eat. Breakfast in the riad was an excellent start to each day. The location is...
