The Kenzi Rose Garden is often commended for its spotless environment and pristine gardens, providing a peaceful oasis with the soothing sounds of nature. It sits in a prime location, offering guests easy access to the local sights and markets. While the hotel's amenities and service receive mixed reviews, with some concerns about the consistency of air conditioning and Wi-Fi, as well as service hiccups, many guests enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. Opinions on the value provided are varied, with some guests feeling that costs outweigh benefits, especially when it comes to the quality of rooms and dining experiences.

The best Pension I could make and spend my best time thanks to the sports team Tima and Rachid who make me want to come back every year and it is for them that I come back every summer. Thanks to them for their good humour and investment in always keeping us busy with Things to do. Without forgetting of course the team of bartenders and waiters. The room service that every day gives us our impeccable room and folds our clothes sometimes without even being asked. And thanks also to the surveillance of lifeguards!

On arrival late at night the hotel and grounds are very well maintained.
At check in we confirmed our booking and had to fill in paperwork then we paid the holiday tax for our stay there wasn't any warm greeting/pleasantries from the staff member when doing so, then given our keycards, informed about breakfast times and pointed in the general direction of our room.
The room was spacious and relatively clean (water marks on the glass topped furniture from glasses/cups) it was quiet and overlooked the gardens with a kids playground.
The breakfasts were lovely with a very good choice for all.
Pools are nice and clean and well maintained with plenty of sun loungers around the pools.
The gardens and grounds are also immaculate.
There are 3 restaurants in the hotel but Asian cuisine was 'open' but no staff were within and it never had any customers during our stay, the La Terrasse restaurant only offered pizza or pasta dishes and the Grill bar seemed only used by Israeli guests.
What was disappointing was no information about these restaurants in your room or within the complex for example menus, opening times etc - you had a menu for room service in your room but that was all.
There is a Lounge bar withing the main reception building offering Tapas on the hotel website but that remained shut during our whole stay.
During our stay a large group had booked a pool along with La Terrasse for a 50th Birthday so this area was off limits to the other guests and no food was available from La terrasse for other guests.
This was not posted anywhere in the hotel to notify any guests in advance who may have wanted to eat in La Terrasse that evening, it also prevented any guests from ordering meals when sitting at the pool bar.
We had to contact housekeeping when the cleaner ran out of clean towels when carrying out her duties and eventually got towels 2hrs later that evening. I also asked at reception one day that our sink was partially blocked and if maintenance could have a look they informed me just to boil the kettle in our room and pour hot water down the plughole!
I ended up unblocking the sink myself.
The location of the hotel in Marrakech is great for walking to the markets and city centre as well as the malls even in 47 degree heat.
The Animation Team do a lot to entertain the kids, as well as adults, with a disco for them in the evening, but for the majority of guests you will need to make your own entertainment or go out and about in the evening.
The TV in the room only has 3 channels that are English speaking, two are news channels, so if you plan for an early night when the heats oppressive then take plenty of books/magazines to read.
Overall it was a nice holiday but we had to plan what to do in the evenings and where we were going to eat outside of the hotel complex.
Needs to be more information in the rooms or on display for guests regarding menus, events etc.
There was a poster advertising lunch which was a barbecue everyday but it was in French which I'm afraid mine is 'rusty'.
As you can appreciate some staff do not speak or understand English, but it can make it difficult for UK tourists to communicate or ask questions.

So this was our second accommodation within 24 hours of landing in Marrakech. Our first one was horrific (Marrakech Palm Club or Il Morro as it’s sometimes called, avoid at all costs!!!)
Anyway we arrived here the day after we landed as an emergency booking for a week due to first apartment being so awful.
We explained our situation and they were very friendly and accommodating, they allowed us to eat breakfast straight away even though they didn’t need too.
They hurried a room along for us as we couldn’t check in till 3pm but by 2pm we were in our room. It was clean, comfortable and had good facilities. Housekeeping was in daily changing the towels, sometimes they wouldn’t forget to bring clean ones so couple of times we had to call down to reception for someone to bring them but there was never an issue in doing so. Bottled water topped up daily too.
The food was average, breakfast was ok, there was choice but not huge amount. Lunch and dinner buffets similar, it was pretty much the same every day, little variation. It was edible though and saw us through the holiday. The staff on reception and the housekeeping ladies were friendly, however some of the bar staff were quite rude, mainly male. Never had any issues with female staff.
We visited during Ramadan and we struggled to find places to eat and buy food/drink as they closed at different times. Equally the restaurants on site opened and closed at different times because of this. I know this was our fault as we didn’t check Ramadan before we went and everyone is entitled to their own culture so although frustrating, not really a reflection on the hotel.
The location was great, 20 mins walk from Medina, 10 mins walk from shopping mall which had Costa, Burger King, carrefour supermarket, and other places. There was a cafe/restaurant called Paul, which was lovely we went twice during our stay.
Overall this hotel was good, in fact in comparison to our first apartment this was 5*.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are delighted to know that our team's responsiveness and friendliness stood out to you, particularly when accommodating your early breakfast and check-in requests. We aim to provide a haven of comfort, and it's heartening to see this reflected in your appreciation for the cleanliness and amenities of your room. While it is pleasing to hear that you found our location convenient and the local amenities such as the shopping mall and restaurants to your liking, we regret to note your experiences with our housekeeping service and the behavior of some bar staff members. Please rest assured that we strive for excellence in all areas of guest service, and your feedback is vital in guiding our continual improvements. Regarding our culinary offerings, we hope to delight our guests with a variety of choices, and it is with regret that we learn our food selection did not meet your expectations. It is also reassuring that despite the unforeseen timing of your visit during Ramadan, our hotel's proximity to the Medina and other attractions contributed positively to your overall experience. We are glad that our hotel served as a significant upgrade from your previous accommodation, and we hope to maintain that high standard in all future stays. We would love to have you return on another occasion. Best regards, Med Chafik MAHFOUD FILALI, General Manager

Unfortunately we are currently staying at the Kenzi Rose Garden.
I travel to Marrakech every year, and this is the first time I have attended such a spectacle.
Our room was not cleaned for two days in a row, the floor is very dirty and never cleaned, we also found little cockroaches walking around.
Room insulation is non-existent and we can hear children screaming in neighboring rooms.
After two days we had a power cut in our room.

As for breakfast… I would repeat the words of another resident who left a comment “breakfast is in a Parisian metro atmosphere”. There are too many people, it's neither relaxing nor pleasant, you have to fight to have breakfast and get a table.

The swimming pool is crowded, there is an atmosphere of a municipal swimming pool. There are not enough deckchairs for all residents. Even if you wake up at 8 a.m., it’s not guaranteed that you will have your place, it’s excruciating.

We spoke with the Hotel Manager (Nassima), who assured us that she would reimburse us, but she lied and told us that there was no possible way out the next day even though we had already done so. our suitcases. I will also add that his excuse for all the inconvenience was that “there are currently over 900 people in the hotel”. Which confirms to us that the reception capacity has been largely exceeded and these conditions do not allow for a relaxing vacation.

We found ourselves having to book another hotel (worthy of a 5 star this time) and therefore spending more than €570 out of our pocket without the hotel making a single move.

In summary: the service at this hotel is catastrophic and in no way represents Moroccan hospitality, it is not worthy of a 5 star. We will never set foot there again and I strongly advise against it.
You will find better hotels for the same price or even cheaper - the room is currently 160€ per night (lol).
Go your way.

I would also point out that the problem does not come from the reception or maintenance staff, they represent collateral damage, it is the organization of the hotel that needs to be reviewed as well as its thirst for profit.

PS: if you are currently staying in this hotel and you are also disappointed, I strongly encourage you to leave a review, the manager of this hotel must understand that these conditions are unacceptable and that you must act accordingly.

Stayed three nights at the Kenzi Rose Garden while on a Moroccan tour. I'm guessing the tour company chose this one because it was inexpensive. Overall, the hotel is utilitarian and bland. With the exception of some palm-frond paper on one wall, there was no decoration. The furniture was plain. Boring. Our room (2205) looked out over the hotel entrance, so there was plenty of road noise. The room and the bathroom seemed small. It had a coffee pot, a safe, and a refrigerator. Towels were usually provided, although on one occasion it took a couple of calls to housekeeping and a visit to the front desk.

The hotel has a large pool area with lots of lounge chairs. This area was much prettier than our room. There are a couple of restaurants, although we only ate in the main restaurant which serves a buffet for breakfast and dinner. The food was OK, but uninspiring.

Dear Majka, We would like to thank you for this review about your recent experience in our hotel. We are pleased to hear that you found our room amenities to your satisfaction, and that the pool area met with your approval, offering a pleasant respite from the bustling city. However, we regret to hear that the ambiance of the room did not meet your expectations, and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced due to road noise. We strive to provide a serene environment and will look into ways to mitigate this issue for future guests. We also apologize for the oversight with the towels; our housekeeping team is usually very attentive to such details. Furthermore, we are sorry to hear that the food did not excite your palate. While we receive positive feedback on our culinary offerings, we understand that tastes can vary, and we will certainly convey your sentiments to our chef for consideration. On the bright side, our hotel is dedicated to providing modern conveniences and a relaxing ambiance, as highlighted by our extensive gardens and inviting pool area. We are also within close proximity to many of Marrakech's points of interest, ensuring our guests have the best of both relaxation and exploration. We hope to welcome you back. Best wishes, Med Chafik MAHFOUD FILALI, General Manager

This is the second year we have stayed at the Kenzi Rose Garden, and we still appreciate the hotel and its pleasant environment. The setting is ideal for relaxing, and the staff is very friendly, especially the pool waiters, who are particularly attentive.

Breakfast is a real highlight: varied and delicious, it starts the day very well.

However, there are a few aspects to review. The prices of poolside meals are quite high, and unfortunately the quality of the food does not match these rates. In addition, it is not allowed to bring food from outside, which can be restrictive. An improvement in this would make the experience even better.

In summary, a good stay overall, but we hope to see improvements regarding catering in the future.

Far too many people for the capacity...breakfast in the morning is done in a Parisian metro atmosphere in the middle of rush hour (if you know what I mean😉) results we get pushed around everywhere, and not sure of finding a seat, in short there is absolutely nothing pleasant about it...the deckchairs
are too few in number, if you want to hunt for a deckchair in the morning, go ahead, you will be served!! And the swimming pool has a crowded municipal swimming pool atmosphere, if you like it, go for it...let's also talk about the welcome which has absolutely nothing to do with Moroccan hospitality (this is the fourth time I've come to Marrakech and the first time that I have been so disappointed with the welcome and service) We arrived in the morning, we asked kindly if our room was ready and the person at the reception (who is already mentioned in other comments) spoke to us very bad...it doesn't give clear
we don't want to stay, in fact we hesitated to turn around... in short we are treated like numbers it's on the chain... it's a real shame because the location and the infrastructure are good but we feel in this hotel that everything is done to make a profit and nothing else...at 120 euros per night minimum we still expect something else!! there is so much better at the same price or even cheaper in Marrakech... in summary it is neither a 5 star nor the Real Morocco... you understand I strongly advise against it 😉

Of course there are many reviews that consider it not a 5 star but no one will find a real palace at the proposed price...
On the contrary, the services are at the rendezvous of what is advertised with a constantly kind staff on all positions (reception, restaurant, swimming pool, breakfast...). Beautiful indoor swimming pool (in the evening) and especially, for winter, possibility to access an indoor indoor swimming pool for 100 dirhams. Quiet rooms remaining classic but spacious. Breakfast standard quality but very varied. In addition to the half board buffet, 2 restaurants, one Italian and the other traditional Moroccan. For both, efficient and very friendly service (special mention to Mourabit) and fine quality cuisine, in both and especially at the Italian restaurant whether it be dishes or pizzas. Overall, a very pleasant stay perfectly matching our expectations on this type of property
