Very pleasant riad with delightful hosts. Communication via WhatsApp were prompt and clear. I would recommend booking their airport shuttle service at €20, as when the car drops you off, someone meets you and takes you direct to riad, which would be otherwise very difficult to find... Although only staying one night the owner gave us a comprehensive explanation of all local info.
The ruad was refurbished not long ago so is still fresh and very clean. Our room and bathroom were compact but adequate. The bed and linen was very comfortable.
The ladies serving breakfast were fantastic, very friendly and served a delightful breakfast with included an omelette.
There are plenty of taxis a few minutes walk away when leaving (which only cost 50DM to the train station).
In summary, the owners have done a great job with this riad and their enthusiasm to please their guests shines through.

The Riad is in a perfect location: close to the Medina and all main museums but at the same time in a very quiet area, very safe and far from the city noise. Breakfast is delicious and rich. The reason why I would come back are definitely the hosts: Hamza and H'mmad are incredibly kind and welcoming. They would do all the possible to make you feel at home, dispensing tons of great tips to enjoy at best Marrakech.

This is a unique place in the heart of Marrakech that offers you great hospitality and an authentic Moroccan experience. You feel like home from the moment you step your foot inside the riad thanks to the wonderful and very professional hosts. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable with a lot of attention to the detail. The atmosphere of the riad is fantastic from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants the best experience in Marakkech with an affordable price as well and I would love to come back.

I had the absolute best time at Riad Le Petit Joyau! From the minute I landed in Marrakech, I was so welcomed! I had a hassle-free and very comfortable transport arranged for me by the Riad from the airport, and when I arrived I was greeted by the wonderful staff! The host gave me the best recommendations for where to eat, shop and explore - so I didn’t have to think of anything! To top it off the rooms, the terrace (home to a wonderful Riadi turtle - Caroline!), location, and the food provided (which included a DELICIOUS chicken tajine for dinner) we’re all SO GOOD! Oh and one of the best mint teas I had in Marrakech was actually from the Riad. Thank you for the best stay! Can’t wait to come back again. I would definitely recommend this Riad for your Marrakech stay!

We arrived at the Riad, 10 minutes before the earthquake hit Marrakech, on Friday, September 8. We were still checking in, as the walls started trembling, when Hamza directed us and other guests, to a nearby safe space near the mosque. Whilst we waited to see when it was safe to return, he located bottled water, and answered all our questions. He also happily provided water to many people in the mosque area, who had left their homes. Hamza was a very calming influence, and much later that evening, we returned to our rooms.
We visited the Riad a few days later, where we were offered mint tea, and had a friendly chat with the lovely staff. The Riad is operating normally, as is most of Marrakech. The doors are open, and they would love to provide other guests with the same level of service we received, in trying times.

Small boutique hotel in the heart of Kasbah. The staff were welcoming and more than accommodating with our every need, setting us up with activities and recommendations for restaurants, spa, Medina tour, etc. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely.

We are two best friends who went for the first time to Marrakech and we’ll for sure come back specially to this incredible Riad. Everything was perfect, every single person of the staff was very cheerful and helpful, the rooms spacious, very clean and comfortable , breakfast was tasty and served on a beautiful rooftop. We’re really satisfied with this experience and we highly recommend this Riad located in the old médina of Marrakech.

This riad was a pleasure to stay in!! Absolutely beautiful and importantly hosted by the most loveliest people. Our host Walid was just exceptional, so attentive and helpful, he made our stay extra special. The breakfast’s were delicious and the location of the riad is perfect! Close to the medina but far away enough to escape the hustle and bustle of the old town! Couldn’t recommend more.
