I could not recommend Riad Princesse du Desert and in general Samira Riads (a small group of riads) highly enough. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and did everything they could to help us out; way beyond what I would expect from a good hotel. We'd been staying at another Samira Riad (Riad Reves...

It was the perfect choice for Marakes. We never stay in this kind of guest house. We where impressed by the architecture and the decorations. Beautiful, very clean amd the staff amazing. As we arrived they wellcome us with tea and cookies and they present us the history of the riads and Marakes. The breakfast is delicious and various. It...

We were made very welcome by Simmon and the rest of the team. Riad was beautiful. I was sick while we were in Marrakesh and the staff were brilliant. They looked after me and fed my husband from their own table (as I was recovering in our room). Wonderful people.

Had a fantastic stay here in December. Great service and hospitality. The rooms were gorgeous. Abdel made fantastic recommendations as to where to eat and made sure we never got lost as the hotel was in a slightly difficult place to find. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here to celebrate my 61st birthday and it was perfect. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The accomodation was clean and beautiful. We ate dinner there just once as there is so much to choose from out in the Medina but it was well worth it and highly recommended. I am already looking forward to going back next...

This riad is tucked away down a series of winding turns in the medina, in very easy walking distance to the fantastic souks of Marrakech. The rooms are elegantly decorated, and the staff is very friendly. Dinner at the riad was actually the best I had in Marrakech: a tagine of lamb, prunes, and spices on the rooftop. While the...

It was a very comfortable and extravagant stay, and the Riad staff was very friendly and treated us like a friend visiting his home. The Riad is a bit difficult to find at first, but once you are able to find it, there is no problem finding it again. It's location is good and is within 10 minutes walking distance...

The Riyad is just 10 min walk from Main Square in old Medina, yet it’s very quiet, safe and peaceful at the end of an alleyway. After walking through ancient tiny alley with mud and brick pathway, you enter this fabulous house with beautiful décor and very friendly staff welcoming you with traditional mint tea (the best). The entrance is...

Nice greetings when we came, but it took to Long time to get the room. At the terass they would like to serve breakfast -it was no sun and it was very cold. They want us to eat a feastdinner and I asked if it would be to cold inside the riad. They said it would be warmed up then...

My wife and I stayed here in Nov 2015. We booked over the internet and the process was easy. Having read reviews we asked for transfers from the airport which was worthwhile as it speeded up the process. It is essential to have the "Bag Cart" otherwise you will never find the Riad but once you are there navigating around...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Riad Princesse du Desert Nothing is too good for her. Equidistant from the " Jemaa El Fna " and " Door Dar El Bacha " , the location of Riad Princesse du Desert is exceptional especially since it offers beautiful calm and tranquility. Nestled in the Medina, the small alley that leads to the riad is a wonder with warm colors that contrast with the blue sky and vegetation that is rare in the Medina which can give the feeling of a Provence in Marrakech. Additionally beautiful decoration, attention to detail , arches , columns and moucharabiehs , lace white stucco ceilings, zellij ( tiled ) walls and featuring an alchemy of colors and smells with refined bath products (jasmine and amber ) make this a wonderful place to be . Additionally, not forgetting comfort alongside the beauty, each of the 6 rooms feature air conditioning, soft bedding and luxury linens. Breakfast is included in the price and we offer complimentary Moroccan mint tea and coffee with homemade cookies at all times. ... more   less
