A beautiful riad, located at the heart of the medina, a short walk from the Marrakech attractions (5 minutes walk to the souks, 10 minutes to Jemaa el Fna). The property is beautiful. A restored riad, with a serene courtyard and rooftop. A real haven from the hassle and bustle outside. Staff are friendly and helpful. On the minus side,...

Riad Rafaele is about a 5-10 minute walk from the main square which epitomizes old Marrakech....rugs, food, lamps, music, vendors and peddlers of everything. Crazy! Intricate and tasteful woodwork and tile work, great breakfast, small wading pool. Staff are kind and genuinely pleasant people. We got to meet the owner, awesome guy. We stayed in the suite the second night,...

This Riad is amazing. They have maintained every element of charm. Not only is the Riad so nicely preserved but the staff are friendly and helpful. If there are rooms available I suggest booking them.

Evrything is perfect. Quiet, charming friendly staff, good food and great rooms. Location is not fare from place, but not in the big trouble. Also good for guests who can not walk long distances, cause near the taxis. We will come back for sure.

When you go to Marrakesh you need to be right in the middle of the city and you should not shut yourself away in an American/European styled hotel that cost 4 times the price of the Rafaele and means taxi journeys to get anywhere. This Riad was PERFECT for us in every way. Perfect location, very clean, amazing atmosphere, and...

The "riad" is one of Morocco's great concepts: former great houses, some centuries old, spotted throughout the urban "medinas," or old, walled cities, which themselves are usually circled by new cities, outside the medina walls. Inside the Marrakech medina is madness. Unlike the Fes medina, Marrakech's allows motor bikes and bicycles, in addition to the donkeys, hand carts and pedestrian...

Stayed in the riad with friends in March. The entrance to the riad was a bit disconcerting through an alley way which was dark during the day but well lit at night. However once you enter the riad you find yourself in a quite, serene and pleasantly cool atrium. The riad has been tastefully restored and the upstairs terrace was...

We arrived at the Riad Rafaele in the evening and got a bit of a shock. It was really hectic and we were taken down an alley way to a big painted wooden door. Inside was an oasis of peace and calm, just how I would imagine it to be in Marrakech. The hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished....

Well what a pleasant surprise we had. The taxi we had, organised by the Rafaele, drove through some narrow streets and phoned through to the Rafaele when the driver got as far as he could go, within minutes a member of the Rafaele staff came to meet us and quite happily carried our bags a short distance until we reached...

Riad Rafaele is an oasis. In a few steps you walk from the frenetic hub bub of the medina streets into a santuary, fragrant and gorgeous. In the courtyard there is a beautiful water feature and fountain adorned with rose petals that creates a calming and serene atmosphere. Surrounding the courtyard are nooks and spaces where you can sit and...
