This Riad is in a better part of Marrakesh - near the jewish quarter. Finding somewhere to park wasn't too easy but there is a public car part within walking distance - just be careful you don't get taken in by the nitially charming young men who offer to help you - make sure you bargain the price for help...

Nestled in the old Jewish quarter (Mellah), the Riad Yamsara is a quaint 3-star accommodation with some lovely features. It's clean enough although not pristine. It could do with a little TLC. However once you work out the heating system (assuming you travel in the comparatively cooler months as we did) and the right setting on the shower, it's a...

The service was perfect and the people who run this accommodation so friendly. My room was cleaned everyday, not easy as I am a very untidy person. The location is near the Bahia Palace which I used as a landmark to find my way back. I ventured down the narrow street alone in the dark. No problem and I am...

A great find. Good quality for the price. (Clean etc, but this is still very much at the budget end of things). Lovely cold breakfasts. Fresh breads and jam. They don't speak English, (although there is a family member, Moktar, who has reasonable English. He can come in and help out if needs be. I had no problem just using...

One week over Christmas. What a joy. Christmas breakfast on the terrace facing the Atlas mountains, seeing Mr and Mrs stork on top of the mosque. Lovely daily brekkie. Great rooms , everything clean and worked, all towels replaced daily. Christmas dinner in the heated dining room a masterpiece of local cuisine. If you want the real flavour go here.....

This was a perfect base for our first trip to Marrakech. Our room on the first floor was spacious and well kept if a little 'no frills'. (We weren't looking for them....). Iman insisted that our linen/towels were changed and room cleaned daily. For us we felt this a little unnecessary but read between the lines that they didn't want...

Even better than expected. I booked this riad for my partner's birthday. The room was traditional and kept clean (fully working air conditioning which was a dream). We had our own lounge attached to the bedroom so felt like we had our own little apartment for the week only minutes away from the square. When first arriving at the riad,...

We stayed at this wonderful little riad from the 20th to 27th May. It's situated down an alleyway in the Jewish quarter of the Medina. Once you navigate your way through the hustle and bustle of Marrakech your arrive at an idillyic haven of peace and tranquility into a fabulous courtyard of palm trees, bougainvillea and songbirds. !! The owners...

We stayed at the Riad Yamsara from May 30th to June 6th 2015. The riad is off of a wonderfully authentic little alleyway in the "mellah" of Marrakesh, which was once the Jewish quarter of the city, surrounded by old walls and still containing a fascinating synagogue and old Jewish cemetery. The entrance to the alleyway is through a tiny...
