The riad is amazing! Just a 10 min walk from the main square means that you can get there easily but, at the same time, you're in a calm area with no noise during the evening/night. Noureddine is a great host, taking time to explain everything you need, walk you to the square and provide useful tips. Sara makes an...

Nadia researched and selected this riyad because I was too busy. I was amazed with how clean the accomodation was. This place was very relaxing, a stark contrast from the commotion of the Medina. The breakfast was local, including pancakes which Nadia enjoyed a lot. I liked the coffee. Nouredine and Sarah were both very nice and volunteered to assist...

This is a special little place. Great room, amazing food and our host was wonderful. Nice quiet location yet only steps from the hustle of everything. I appreciate all the little extra touches st breakfast and check in and making sure we got to our cab safely. Thank you!

The riad is calm, clean and cosy with a nice terrace on top - what makes it so special is the sensational hospitality of its management. We haven't felt so generously welcomed anywhere else in Morocco.

Me and my husband stayed here in April in the Sirr Room (blue). We had a lovely romantic stay in a nice clean room which is traditional and also modern. Wifi was good and we had great sleep as the bed and bedding are great quality. We had a leisurely delicious breakfast every morning which was presented beautifully by Noureddine....

The hotel itself is very traditionally designed and very cosy. But the hotel manager makes you feel that you are very welcomed. He is an absolutely asset for this Riad. Highly recommend and will definitely stay in again next time when we travel back to Marrakesh. Brilliant!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dar Nour El Houda. It was simply the best Riad we stayed in Morocco, and quite possibly the best guesthouse we have ever stayed in the 50 countries we visited. We went with the previous reviews and everything was exactly as described - tasteful decor, excellent location, and meticulous maintenance. As noted in previous...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Dar Nour El Houda is a chic and unique boutique Riad in the heart of the Madina of Marrakech. It is the former home of French contemporary artist Patrick Carpentier and is now owned by a group of British friends who fell in love with the place. The Riad is interior decorated to a high standard in cream and white. It enjoys an open courtyard with a large Olive tree and a plunge pool as well as a terrace with views to the Katoubia and the Atlas Mountains. Each of the four en-suite bedrooms have their own unique character and the entire property is decorated with Patrick's beautiful artworks. The Riad is located in the centre of the Madina, close to star attractions such as Ben Youssef Mosque and Madresa (5 mins walk), the Marrakech Museum (5 mins walk) and the Photography Museum (4 mins walk). Jemaa-El-Fna is an approximate 12-15 minute walk away and a map is provided to guide you. Taxis from the airport stop at Place Moukef (Kaat Benahid), a 4 minute walk away. Famous restaurants such as Le Fondouk, Dar Tazi and Restaurant Naima are all approximately 5 minutes walk away, but in our opinion the best meal is served within Dar Nour El Houda itself with a fantastic 3-course meal cooked by one of your hosts, Asia. Together with our Manager, Noureddine, you will be treated to attentive service where every guest is looked after with the utmost care. ... more   less
