I have just returned from the Riad Barroko with my husband for a 3 day break. We found this place on Expedia and paid much less than we would have if we had booked direct. We arrived about 9pm after nearly two hours extra on the plane due to Spanish air strikes, and as we had booked our transfer through...

We arrived Riad Barroko on the 04th June, asked for transfers and manager was expecting us. Took our luggage and drove us trought some tiny streets to that fantastic place. It's just like pictures show, a small cosy pool in the centre of the house with some confortable couch and deck chairs, paint-brush with some plants and trees. Amazingly is...

This place is gorgeous, we found it by trawling through reviews of different riads on trip advisor and the positive comments were spot on. We arranged an airport pickup with the riad and they were waiting for us on our arrival. The riad is a 5-10min drive from the airport and it cost 15euros for both of us. The riad...

We loved the Riad Barroko - it is a beautiful building with a lovely pool, rooms and sun terrace and so close to the main square yet is so peaceful inside! It was quite bizarre because the bath was pretty much in the same room as the bed but to be honest we like weird things like that! Everyone was...

From the moment we arrived in Marrakech, the staff at Riad Barroko made us feel very welcome. We were met at the airport by the riad manager - the service costs extra, but I would recommend it, as the riad is tucked away and could be hard to find on your own. The riad staff were friendly and helpful and...

I took my girlfriend to Marrakech for her birthday, and totally lucked-out finding Riad Barroko. If you're looking for a huge, faceless, personality-free chain hotel with all the trappings of similar hotels the world over, this isn't for you. If however you want to stay in a traditional Riad, beautifully appointed and restored, tucked away like a hidden gem in...

My boyfriend and I stayed here when we went for a short break in December and I think it is fantastic value for money. The Riad is beautiful; very traditional and rustic and the staff bent over backwards to help. As soon as we arrived we were served some mint tea and given the low down on all the best...
