I booked the Riad for 3 nights in March 2010 to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday and our 1st wedding anniversary! We had a perfect weekend away and the owner/staff (Adam and Mohamed) were so friendly and helpful. We could not fault our stay. Arrived late Friday evening and had arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport....

The Riad Slawi was a nice pleasant place to stay. Very American or "English" speaking friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was a bit of a walk to the square but nothing that anyone in semi-good shape could not handle. The food was yummy and they were very accommodating.

We stayed for 6 nights and it was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Mustaffa was the perfect host, friendly and helpful. He walked us to the Marjorelle Gardens on the first day to orientate us. And you got the feeling that they would do anything for you. The location was daunting at first, situated in the back alleyways, but...

i can't imagine having stayed anywhere else in marrakech... i have to admit that despite having travelled quite extensively to exotic destinations, marrakech is quite intense. although fascinating and very charming, it's very easy to get lost in the old medina, and coming back to riad slawi felt like a haven within the city's chaos. this being said, the trip...

We just arrived back from 5 nights at Riad Slawi and had a very nice stay! We were welcomed by Mustapha, the owners father, who was just the loveliest man ever! He met us from our taxi, despite not knowing which flight we were on and meandered us through the streets to the Riad. Now I wouldn't recommend Marrakech at...

Staying in this Riad would be the best possible way to get to know the way of life in Marrakesch. We stayed here for one week and could not speak highly enough of the service, advice, ambience and food in this estabishment. The only possible draw back could be location, but after the first day you can come to realise...

From the moment we stepped through the door into the Riad we knew we'd arrived somewhere special. The warmth of the welcome extended by Adam was just so genuine. On the first evening he took us to a local cafe and, so that we didn't get lost, he came back to show us the way home. This level of service...

Visited this guest house in late May. Never having been in Morocco we were a little taken aback by its surroundings in comparison to the rave reviews we had read. A venture out to the local market place had us wanting to go home immediately!!! However we have led sheltered lives and after getting over the initial trauma of wandering...

Riad Slawi lives up to everything that people say about it on Trip Advisor, and more! The place is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were made very welcome by Adam, who also cooked a traditional Moroccan meal for us on two nights - delicious food. Breakfast was great too. The riad is situated well into the medina, so there...
