Excellent location in relation to excursion pick ups, quick walk to the Jemaa el-Fnaa market square, tanneries and all that captures the essence of Marrakech.
Security gates were good. Alley of location is well lit and contains several small businesses and residences.
Front desk service with Abdul and manager “ Unis” (sp) were fantastic, informative, helpful and gracious.
The Red Room “La Roussa” was comfortable, well decorated, and the bathroom and shower which are fully tiled was free of dust, mold and soap scum. Pillows and bed were large and comfy. AC unit worked well.
The lobby is very visually pleasing with a Moroccan pool mid-room. This RIAD was and is very comfortable.
The only negative occurred near the end of our stay. In short, we sat as a second table for breakfast with no greeting or acknowledgment of our presence. The first family there was eating already. While waiting, a third family came (they were Caucasian). The staff hurriedly attended to them by pulling out their chairs and helping them sit. They then went to the back and brought out glasses of juices for them, while we watched and still had no service or acknowledgement. We then decided to leave and my wife asked for at least something to drink to take her pill. A lady from that family, observing the treatment, immediately passed her juice to my wife.
We then left immediately to go on an excursion. Upon our return that evening, Abdul at the front desk came to us, informed us he heard of the incident at breakfast and offered his gracious apologies. He offered several remedies and future discounts and was himself moved by what we experienced.
I share all this to help you make an informed decision because Reviews have helped us greatly in planning our trips. The facilities, accommodations and location are great. The breakfast meals are great! The breakfast servers on that day should not be serving the public. We didn’t pay our money to be treated like second class clients.
Hats off to Abdul,” Unis” and the other staff. It sucks that this review might hurt them in the short run, but hopefully it will help them train and hire staff exceptional as they are.
Marrakech is worth the experience!

I stayed at Riad Andalla Spa with my wife and young son. This was our first visit to Marrakech and we had no knowledge of riads. We researched thoroughly and Riad Andalla Spa was our top choice, based on previous reviews. Hidden away in the midst of the bustling Medina this 'jewel' was a haven to escape from it all. Before we arrived Christophe answerd our questions via email and helped arrange airport shuttle transport and other taxi journeys in advance. The building itself is really tranquil and very beautiful. Our room was spotless, the beds were large and really comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing, playing draughts and chess in the lounge and beside the plunge pool, (which was my son's favourite). He was welcomed with open arms. The breakfasts, (included in our stay) were hearty and set us up for the day. We were out and about a lot but we did dine on the Terrace one evening and the food was really, really good. The Lasagne with a Moroccan twist and the Chocolate Royal desert were 'to die for'! The chef was very pleasant and went out of his way to explain the ingredients for us (as vegetarians). The staff reflected our experience of Moroccan people in general, warm and friendly, helpful and supportive. This goes for all the staff - the receptionists, waiters and cleaners. My Hamam was amazing and thank you to the masseuse who dealt in a dignifying way, with my disability - a true professional. There is only one small recomendation I would suggest and that the table in our room could have been slightly bigger (for three people) or indeed another small one in the adjoining room. We fell in love with the place and huge thank you to you all for making our stay a truly amazing experience. We would highly recommend Riad Andalla Spa to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Andalla Spa. The room was spacious, clean and well decorated. The communal areas are plentiful and beautiful and include indoor and rooftop spaces. The location is perfect in terms of exploring; there is a little noise from the main square but it fades into the background. It was really easy to communicate with the staff prior to our arrival and they ensured everything ran smoothly. I would recommend organising transport to and from the airport via the hotel - it made this aspect of the trip hassle free and was good value for money. The airport queues were horrific and our driver waited over two hours for us with no extra cost and a friendly smile! We cannot praise the staff at Riad Andalla Spa enough. Everyone was so friendly, polite and helpful. We had some outstanding recommendations for dinner and a Whats App number to contact for help with haggling in the souks. The staff really make this an outstanding place to stay.

This year I decided to celebrate my birthday at AndallaSpa because it is more than a riad, it is home, it is my home in Morocco. I have been staying there on many occasions and each time they surpass themselves more and more. The decoration is extremely exquisite, taking care of the Moroccan tradition and its charm. This time I was with a friend in what is our favorite room: Abla. Sleeping in a space where everything is white and pure gives infinite peace and well-being. But to prove it, you have to live it. Just as you have to taste the breakfasts firsthand, different every day, with their orange juice, pastries, fruit depending on the season and yogurt, which couldn't be more delicious. And if that were not enough, tasting these delicacies on a terrace that teleports you to the Majorelle Gardens is priceless. On this trip there is an added bonus and it is the good work of its chef: Jose. You cannot leave Marrakech without having tasted its delicatessen. We tried a kefta tagine and a lasagna that were authentic delicacies. And to top it off, the desserts were unforgettable: mouth-watering orangettes and artisan ice cream. I can't forget their citronnade. Do you know what Marrakech smells and tastes like? If you want to discover it, don't forget to try it on your next stay at AndallaSpa. The final touch is provided by its professional and charming staff. Youness, Abdellah, Said, Bujmaa, Abdo, Salwa... each and every one of them is full of sympathy and kindness to help you with whatever you need. And of course, also a special mention to Chris and André, great friends and excellent professionals who have made AndallaSpa always shine with a special essence, like a true number one.

We enjoyed a wonderful three night stay at this Riad in April 2024. We were welcomed and given tea upon our arrival. The Riad is beautiful and our room was very spacious and comfortable! Our luggage was carried to our room - much appreciated! The Riad has a great rooftop dining area for breakfast and where we enjoyed eating two of our three meals in Marrakech! The Riad arranged a very enjoyable and insightful full day tour of the city and Medina. The Riad is located about a 10 minute walk to the main square - easy to find and safe! We enjoyed the spa services one day. A nice feature of the location is that taxis can pull up in front making for easy coming and going! Staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful! Overall an outstanding experience and stay!

Like every year, we look forward to returning to our beloved riad and the beautiful Andallaspa family, always with great pleasure in this magnificent, peaceful setting. For both of us, Marrakech is a complete change of scenery and the stay at the riad is pure happiness, ideally located in the heart of the medina close to the souks, museums and the famous Jemaa el Fna square (800m) Taken care of upon our arrival at the airport by the assigned driver, the very fraternal welcome from Younes, director manager of this unique place, is always a great moment of intense reunion as well as all the staff always smiling, available, to the little ones care for each resident. And as for the friendly owners; André and Christophe it is only happiness for us, to share wonderful family moments. The riad is splendid and has 15 personalized rooms and suites each with its own decoration and delivered to the creativity of the best artisans, gleaming stucco and sculpted plaster, ancestral and contemporary Moroccan art rub shoulders with quality furniture. The fusion of tradition and modernity is fascinating. The high quality bedding, the impeccable cleanliness, the great calm of the place allows complete rest. The typical and varied meals taken on the terrace or in the covered loggia are excellent and always a treat for the taste buds. Bravo to the cooks. The massage at the riad's Spa during the stay in an enchanting setting for our great happiness; we succumbed to authentic oriental rituals by the expert hands of qualified staff. And for excursions, outings, no worries, multiple destinations are open to us: from the great Moroccan south, to the valleys and mountains of the Atlas without forgetting Essaouira, everything is organized perfectly in order to discover this beautiful region of Morocco. Head full of memories at the end of each stay, we always look forward to returning quickly to this exceptional riad and strongly recommend without moderation a stay in Andallaspa and like us both you will be won over by this magical place. Many thanks to André and Christophe and the entire Andallaspa family for these precious moments.

Andalla Spa was fantastic, it's bang in the middle of the old town, out of the gate, turn left and left and you're at the start of the souk and only minutes away from the main square.
Christophe could not have been better for communication, he arranged a pick up from the airport for us and even though we ended up 90 minutes late due to airline delays the driver was there.
The building itself is a fantastic example of a traditional riad, it has been thoughtfully furnished and our room was excellent, enough space, hanging space and a super king bed. The bathroom was very spacious with twin sinks and a huge walk in shower with a good hot water supply. The aircon was extremely efficient when needed.
My partner made use of the full 90 minute spa and hammam treatment that was available and said it was outstanding, the best she has had.
One of the other things that made Andalla Spa stand out from nearly everywhere else we have stayed is the staff. They were genuinely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel welcome and at home. We've stayed in enough hotels to recognise outstanding service and people and you definitely get that here.
One final note slightly off topic - if you're thinking of coming to Marrakech and are maybe slightly worried about security and safety - in our experience we felt safer in Marrakech and Andalla Spa than other cities we've visited

Excellent hospitality, everyone was really kind. Provided us with a driver to go anywhere, this was a lot safer and cheaper than regular drivers.
Location of riad is very convenient too, you can reach souks and other old medina spots within 15 min walk.

A True Gem! A quiet haven admits the busy medina of old Marrakesh, only the occasional call to prayer will remind you of the outside world. The owners have an eye for style & detail having created a beautiful authentic haven to enjoy. The staff are incredible, nothing is too much trouble, they are truly kind & friendly people who genuinely care about their guests & each other! The food all cooked on site is excellent presenting healthy & interesting Morrocan cuisine. They arranged our airport transfers, we took some excellent excursions through them to Ait Ben Haddou & The Orika Valley, both incredible days out, every driver we had drove safely & enhanced our experiences. Whilst a taxi can park outside some larger vehicles park at the end of the street, this isn’t a problem as Andallaspa staff look after your luggage & the area is really safe. We spent a week at the Riad, enjoyed every minute & had a great time exploring Marrakesh with lots of advice & top tips on hand from the Riad staff who provided a map & guidance. We recommend without hesitation & look forward to our return at some point. Book through their website & email for any queries they are very responsive. Riad Andallaspa are worthy of their multiple awards! Thank you Christophe, Siad & team. Shokran.

Hello, I hope you are well. These photos are indeed of the Riad located at Rue Tikhizrit. I see photos of the room my fiance and I stayed in, and the rooftop garden dining area is unmistakable. It was literally the best place we have ever stayed. Everyone there just wants to make sure each day you are there is the best day of your life! We plan to return!

Hi there, it is only a small Riad, so only a few steps outside onto the street where smoking would be fine. The open air space on the roof is not that large that it could have a separate ‘smoking area’... but I’m not the owner... enjoy your visit, if you choose this Riad I am sure you will...
When I booked my trip through Travelocity you can send a message to the Riad. So I just was sending messages back and forth and the owner or the manager of the Riad offered to do the airport transfer to and from it was 15 euros coming and going so about 30 Euros total. And any information they gave you is concerning the address and telephone number once you email them they are really good at getting back with you
