Yes when you first see the location it can be a bit daunting, but you soon realise that the whole of the old town is set out along a maze of alleyways. Riad Chalymar provides a peaceful haven from the hustle and bustle of the main square and the souks. The rooms are comfortable clean and well serviced, ours was... More

Ibrahim, who runs the Riad, has a great sense of service and was willing to kindly answer all our questions. Breakfast was good and abundant, rooms are comfortable and good value for money. Would go back here when I visit Marrakech next.

Had a amazing stay at this, riad staff were lovely, location was good if you want to get the true Marrakesh experience, very good value for money and the air conditioning was great. Thanks to the staff for making it an amazing experience. The riad also offers excursions which are perhaps more trustworthy than buying them off the street and... More

We stayed here for a week. All the staff were really kind and helpful, especially booking us trips into the Sahara and the Atlas Mountains. Breakfast was lovely. Only slight issue was that we weren't given a key to the actual Riad, just to our room. This wasn't a problem as someone was usually around to let us in, but... More

We spent the first 4 nights of our stay in Morocco at this Riad. From the very first moment we felt very welcome. Staff was very helpful organizing the transfer from the airport, picking us up from the taxi, showing us some nice hammam used by locals and also demonstrating how to cook Tajine. The rooms were very good value... More

This is a really beautiful Riad .The Staff -Malika, Soufianne & Halima were all very kind, attentive and welcoming. Marrakech and the Square are full of hustle and bustle , but on returning to Riad Chalymar , it was so quiet, restful and peaceful. I stayed 4 nights and the breakfasts were excellent and plentiful , you would not be... More

I highly recommend Riad Chalymar. Just walking distance from the main square, very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was good with a delicious natural orange juice. The shower was not that good, need an adjustment as the water spills everywhere. During 4 days at the Riad, towels were not changed. When we arrived at the airport the transfer was not... More
