I had 7 nights in November 2011 in Marrakech, from Australia, and started with 4 nights at Dar Moulay Ali in the Medina at 40€ per night. After 4 nights I had had enough of the Medina markets and thought I would have 3 nights in the city proper so by mistake I booked the Riad Ellizabeth. I was shocked...

Let me just start by saying this is a 5 star review. The Riad Elizabeth is an extremely friendly, comfortable, well run and well located place to stay. It is perfect for the souks, The Foundouk restaurant is fantastic and within walking distance and exploring the myriad of streets around the Medina is fun. From the moment we arrived at...

We decided to spend New Year in Marrakech and after much deliberation picked Riad Elizabeth - I'm so glad we did! From the start the service was faultless. Elizabeth replied to emails promptly and answered all questions we had. We were picked up from the airport and taken to the Riad where we were greeted by Kamal. Kamal was friendly...

We stayed for three days over the new year and we were excellently catered for. A taxi was sent out to pick us up, we were given tea and a chance to relax when we arrived and a thoughtful new year's meal was arranged for us and some of the other guests that night. The room was well decorated, clean,...

It has been a year since my son and daughter in law got married at the beautiful Riad Eliziabeth in Marrakech, Morocco. I can reflect better now than immediately following the trip. It was unusual in a beautiful sense and a wedding that I will never forget. The Riad is perfect and imipeccably kept and John , Elizabeth and the...

My wife, Glenda, and I wanted to celebrate our silver wedding somewhere exotic (never having visited Africa before) and had been recommended to the Riad Elizabeth as being in a convenient location, having superior facilities and English-speaking staff. It certainly lived up to it's reputation and we were charmed to see "25" laid out on our bed in rose petals....

We enjoyed our stay at this riad during our recent trip! The management couldn't have been any more helpful. They offered dinner reservations - maps, guidance. The room was beautiful. Comfortable, nice linens, and great heaters which we appreciated since it was chilly! The location is perfect - we've been to Marrakesh several times before, but we will certainly make...

We stayed at this charming Riad a couple of months ago and have only just got round to writing a review. I was very surprised to read '1 star location' review as our experience could not have been more different!! The Riad is in a great location - 5 minutes walk from the Museum and the Medersa (with its incredible...

From the moment I made contact with Riad Elizabeth to the moment we left we were looked after brilliantly and made to feel so welcome. John and Elizabeth were very helpful during the booking process, particularly as our booking was not straight-forward due to the need for a replacment passport to arrive. Once we arrived and met Kamal .........well what...

We sayed at Elzabeth Riad for 8 nights and had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and John and Elizabeth made us most welcome. We had an excellent Moroccon meal our first night and John recommended some wonderful places to eat nearby. The map which was provided by the hotel was easily the best...
