We travelled from the UK to stay in Marrakech for the first time. We were travelling with our 10 year old Son. Riad Elias has been great, we found out stay very comfortable and recommend the Riad. We emailed Siad in advance to arrange shuttles to and from the airport and also a home cooked meal for when we arrived....

The hotel was quite nice and in a good location, but taking into account that it's marketed as a 'luxurious riad' I don't think it deserves a higher rating. There were some stains on sheets and towels and the whole place wasn't particularly clean. It's also not as modern as it looks in the pictures, which are a bit outdated....

My friend and I stayed at Riyad Elias in February 2016. We had a great stay, the manager Sayyid was so nice to us! The first night we got there we got in pretty late, Sayyid was waiting for us on the road as our driver pulled right up to the riyad. The room was small, but perfect for us...

I booked this place for its rating on TripAdvisor. When we got there it was in a remote and pretty local part of the Medina. It's not unsafe, but it's quite uncomfortable as no other tourists around. The proprietor will try to swindle you by taking you on a tour of the market when he will drop you off at...

Poor, bad, run down, appalling area, 4 year old photos of a tired Riad. Once this was a magnificent house not now, both TripAdvisor and Hotels.com need to take a serious look at this kind of misleading advertising. Said did his best, but you can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear.

I can't believe we stayed at the same place as some of the previous reviews. This riad is in a dodgy area of the medina with few other tourists about. Therefore as tourists we stood out and were hassled constantly. It was our 4th time in Marrakech so we weren't new to the ways of the medina and we had...

My friends and I arrived in Marrakech. To say the least we were out of our element in this city at first. Nothing could prepare us for the experience we would have. I image if we didn't stay here, our stay in Marrakech would have been far less eventful and enjoyable. Once we stepped into the Medina from the Taxi...

We loved our stay here- Elias, Saiyid and the lady were all so helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. The hospitality was wonderful and they really went out of their way to ensure we were safe and happy during our visit.

Beautifully recreated riad with generous rooms, ensuite somehow made to look 'traditional' behind a lovely wooden screen. Large comfortable bed. Our host, Said, could not have been more welcoming and friendly. So accommodating when we split our visit and came back after a couple of nights in the mountains. Delightfully quiet and peaceful in the middle of the chaos of...

This riad is a little difficult find at first, but once you remember the way, it's very convenient, within a walking distance from Jemma el Fnaa (the main square). The interior of the riad and my room was very beautiful and clean. Most of all, the owner was very kind and helpful. When I took a one-day tour to Ourzazate...

“With hindsight, we've have chosen a first floor room as our window led out onto the courtyard and meant we were a bit exposed if we had it open.”
