I recently had my first morrocan holiday with 18 of my favourite friends and found Marrakech and the riad Hadika Maria more than welcoming. The medina is amazing and once you get past the monkeys on strings (which I personally hated) the jamaa el-fna (big square) is awash with all sorts of people, foods, smells and pretty much anything anyone...

Stayed in the riad for 2 nights. Staff at hotel very friendly and helpful. Had arranged pick up from airport - they appeared to be late and the telephone number we had did not work - then it appeared that the man had been there all a long - if using this service I would make sure you ask for...

Me and my friend stayed at Riad Hadika Maria for 4 nights while we were in Morocco for Easter break. It was a beautiful riad that had a gorgeous roof terrace, swimming pool and comfortable bedroom. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and after a few nights we felt at home at the riad. Located close to all the...

I was welcomed by a kind receptionist but besides that I was not satisfied... I hired a taxi from the Supratours Busstation.. about 5-6 km. and then full stop as it is in the middle of the Medina with very narrow streets... I had to ask at least 20 people (most of them did not understand me) how to find...

I would agree totally with last review. This riad is beautiful and quiet (I was only guest) once you get there. I had booked hotel transfer for 15 euros... but very service was very late at airport (had me worried) and then refused to deliver me to main doorway, making me pay some local yob to show me the way....

Beautiful, traditional Riad. Staff very helpful. Had our room upgraded at no extra cost. Got cool at night and staff were quick to find a heater for the room before we asked. Shower water only tepid, which was a bracing start to the day! Breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely. The only real issue is the location. We met...

We stayed here after a desert trip for 2 days. The Riad itself is beautiful and the layout is fantastic. Our room was very nice and we had dinner one night in the Riad - one of the best chicken tagines we had that week! The staff are very friendly and accommodating and offer much advice and guidance. I'd say...

Riad looks lovely but I won't go there again. They charged me double the price for the day trips. They are not to be trusted. Such a shame. WiFi only in the main courtyard. Very dusty bed and not even a soap. Not happy.

I booked the Riad for a December break with my Dad. It was our first time in Marrakech and we chose a Riad over a hotel to get the feel for the real Marrakech rather than a new hotel that could make you feel like you could be in either Spain or somewhere else. Our choice was the right one....
