We arrived very late on a Saturday night (23.30) due to ridiculous delays at the airport which meant missing our transfer.
The man at the reception was very understanding and sent us to get food before checking us in and giving us our room card.
I had requested a first floor, garden view and had requested a double bed not twins pushed together (booked through EasyJet who never passed this info on). We were so tired we slept in the room on the ground floor however were woken by other guests being really noisy.
The next morning I requested to swap rooms and we were moved upstairs still not with a garden view and our beds were two singles pushed together with the mattresses running across the bed which is possibly worse than having the gap in the middle. Both beds we slept in were hard and uncomfortable.
Fresh linen and towels daily - the shower cubicles could really do with a scrub and one morning we had little to no water pressure in the shower. The extractor fan didn’t work in our second room.
Good variety of food at breakfast, food truck is open for lunch by the main pool with burgers, hot dogs and chips available, the main buffet is also open. Crepes available late afternoon from the truck.
Good variety of dinners in the evening.
I appreciate smoking laws are different in Marrakech but it would be nice not to have to eat where someone starts chaining it on the table next to you.
We used the Zen pool which was very nice although it was a shame that not all the parasols had fabric on them meaning they were useless. This pool is not heated but was pleasant to swim in as it was so hot!
Good variety of activities, we really enjoyed the archery (please sort the ants which were absolutely everywhere and really distracting trying to fire an arrow with them crawling up your legs!) I wasn’t brave enough to try the trapeze.
The shuttle into the centre is great - you need to book the night before and be outside the front gates for collection. We were ambushed by ‘tour guides’ the first day we got off the bus but just politely told them no thank you.
The hotel staff were great, absolutely no complaints.
I feel it would have been useful to have a little more information about where to find things and what was on as I found I was making repeat visits to the reception desk to ask questions.
There is an ATM in the foyer which was helpful as we took no cash at all and needed 200dirham deposit for the towels. Cash is preferred everywhere.
We had a hammam treatment at the spa which was different but enjoyable.
Overall a great stay and was sad to be leaving.
It would be nice to see the hotel provide some food for the many cats and kittens who are quite clearly underweight.
Our room was tired, eg the toilet cistern was cracked, the blackout blind had slipped hooks and was thus hanging down on one side, the shampoo dispenser fell off the wall and was just left perched on the remaining by housekeeping. We were three in our room and our son (an adult aged 28) had the sofa bed. This was very uncomfortable indeed and was simply not big enough. Despite there clearly being 3 persons in the room we kept having to ask for more towels, both bath and hand and there were insufficient pillows. Also, on evening 4 our sheets had still not been changed. One evening we were asked to complete a survey (we were randomly selected) and the following day we had a note under the door asking us to speak with Guest Services which we duly did that evening. We met with Sara Faddani, the Guest Service Manager and she welcomed our feedback as the hotel is keen to respond and make improvements wherever possible. We were very impressed by her prompt attention to the matters we raised and by the time we went up to our room after dinner the bedsheets had been changed and additional towels left. We could not fault her.
We were perhaps a little unlucky with our room as we did see another and it appeared much less jaded than ours.
Generally the staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel is clean and well managed. The animation team are personable and engaged and there is plenty to occupy most. We especially enjoyed the table tennis (3 outdoor tables) and the adult 'quiet' pool. We took our tennis racquets but were unable to play as the surface of both courts was in a state of disrepair and therefore unplayable. Other irritants worthy of mention include having to pay 100 MAD at reception for each pool towel, only payable in cash so the ATM in the lobby made a killing from all the transaction fees it took from 100s of guests. Another was that the Animation 'Box' where bookings are made, equipment eg table tennis bats etc, and pool towels distributed, was only open at set hours including being closed from 1300-1430 hrs for lunch and for the day at 1730 hrs. This should be more accessible.
Food is generally good with a reasonable amount of choice. We particularly enjoyed the Moroccan selection and the BBQ which was always good. Puddings on offer were delicious but limited so we got bored with them after a few days. The quality of the coffee varied by machine, and was thus a bit hit and miss.
However, overall we had a great stay. There is scope for real improvement and we would consider returning.
We've been there several times and it gets better every time.
Everything is done to have a great stay.
The place is clean, the gardens very well maintained
Trapeze, tennis, ping pong, archery, boules, volleyball there is something for everyone
The rooms are perfect.
The Zen pool is supervised and no children are allowed.
For the others there is the main pool with music and entertainment throughout the day
The restaurant is masterfully run by Chef Miguel. Dishes are cared for there is something for every taste, culinary themes every night (Moroccan, suhis...) grilling outside. the buffet is always busy. The negative is the Moroccan restaurant which has no use. Thanks Miguel for everything else...
The bar, cocktails for all tastes and beautifully made, alcohol and wine is good quality...
The reception is very attentive and does everything to find a solution. Thanks to Ali Mohamed who is in charge and always smiling.
But it’s all organized by a super manager Walid Rakez. Smiling kindly always attentive to tourists and especially to his employees. The staff is smiling, happy to work for this manager.
Unlike Kenzi Agdal, Ibersostar has a real director.

The hotel is very well equipped, the staff is very professional. The services offered are of quality: the all-inclusive package is really very good, the activities offered are quality: golf, archery, tennis, trapeze (incredible!), beach volleyball, pétanque, dance, boxing, stretching… Mini -club, pre-teen club and teen club.
The facilitators are dynamic and very friendly.
The setting is idyllic and very well maintained.
The family rooms are well designed and quite spacious, we had a very nice view of the garden.
The 2 swimming pools are very pleasant. We had a slight preference for the Zen swimming pool :-)
At the all-inclusive level: the meals are excellent, the buffets are very varied and of high quality.
The Christmas Eve buffet was amazing!!! An aperitif was offered in the hotel entrance hall with great performances: musicians, buffet entertainment, photo sessions, arrival of Santa Claus on a camel and distribution of gifts to the children.... Over 1 week, we never got tired of it. The catering staff (service and kitchen) are very welcoming. The room manager named Abdel pays attention to the smallest detail to satisfy customers, which was very appreciable.
The reception staff are also very attentive.
The gym is well equipped and pleasant, the sports coach is very welcoming and offers you sports courses adapted to your desires.
If I have to mention a negative point, it would be the location of the hotel near the center: it is quite far (around 20/25 min journey) but there are many shuttles available and free.
We loved our stay and we will come back with great pleasure.

Breakfast lunch and dinner was always spectacular, they catered for everyone’s tastes. Even if you arrived towards the end of service the platters would look beautiful and plentiful.
We used the spa on the second day and had a massage each, it worked out around £60 each for 50 mins, I would highly recommend this.
There are many trips available at extra cost, we didn’t try any of these this time as we didn’t really stay long enough but I’m looking forward to returning with the rest of the family next year so maybe I’ll get to ride a camel then.
And lastly I must mention how wonderful the staff were, so polite and gracious, a real credit to the hotel. We look forward to visiting again soon 😁
We had a very good week as a family of 2 adults and a 3 year old child!
Free shuttle organized by the hotel for the city to the very practical Liberty Square.
Very pretty exterior setting, "garden view room" of a good size for 3 people, very decent and relatively clean (not perfect if I quibble with new or renovated hotels because a slight refresh might perhaps be expected for demanding customers but it is not very old either, overall correct compared to other club hotels of the type I think)
Evening show mainly dance but of quality the dancers give their all (special mention white evening and Moroccan evening). The entertainment exists but we are not harassed to participate, very good point in my opinion (arrival cocktail on Monday evening by the swimming pool, afternoon ice cream or smoothie stand on certain days around 4 p.m. I believe and for a short time time you have to be present at the moment near the pool, Moroccan cuisine poolside entertainment, little dance with the children and disguised entertainer poolside)
Note:
Our week at the end of May, outside temperature whether visiting or relaxing at the ideal swimming pool! Overall, a pleasant summer in France (between 26 and 30 degrees in the shade I think).
> I must note, however, that the unheated swimming pool harmed the experience of my family who did not really succeed in swimming (unlike me who is neither particularly cold nor particularly afraid of the heat)
> in the morning before 10 a.m. sweater highly recommended for breakfast on the terrace or in the evening after 7/8 p.m. sweater and pants not too much for the terrace and the show (well if you're not cold it can be okay).

The hotel is set in the most amazing well looked after grounds, the layout of the swimming pools together with various activities have been designed so well and discretely placed that something for everyone, we used adult pool, just perfect in every way, very efficient friendly bar staff and pool attendant on duty.
Quality of food and choice in the restaurant excellent at all times. Staff amazing.
Our room was simply furnished cool colours to reflect climate, comfy beds and cleaned to high standard daily.
Animation team a delight to speak to and helpful, if you want to chill do your own thing you never felt pressured to join in.
Bar staff very efficient they work so hard to serve people without them having to wait always with a smile.
A note of thanks and appreciation to Guest Service Manger, for excellent customer service she gave us.
Club Palmeraie is most definitely a hotel to visit, We look forward to our return visit. 2037.

The best all inclusive we’ve visited in a long time.
The rooms come equipped with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and also moisturiser which is great if you have only hand luggage.
There are a few cats around, please feed them with some fish from the buffet if you are staying.
Spoke to the staff about the cats, because they don’t belong to the hotel they don’t feed them. As the majority of guests are animal lovers they would love to see a feeding system in place for the cats to put the guests minds at ease. Hungry cats and kittens make guests anxious. So much left over food it wouldn’t be a problem to feed them, please consider this management.

Restaurant busy but can always get a table and staff are always cleaning. It's buffet service but lots of choice and have started to label the food so you know what it is, drinks choice including water, wines, fizzy pop, hot drinks at breakfast available in restaurant. Large family swimming pool with lots of sunbeds, no need to get up early to reserve and if full staff will always find you some. There is also an adults only pool and a kids splash park. Lots of activities to chose everyday if you want to join in which is very much encouraged but if you don't you can just relax. Food truck serving burgers, chips, hot dogs waffles, pancakes. There is also a new bar outside serving alcoholic drinks and self serve water, hot drinks and non alcoholic drinks machines. Bar inside serving all different drinks with back ground music playing, the bar staff are great and friendly (sorry can't remember all names) they do a brilliant job. Entertainment team work really hard and are very friendly. As I have said before if you like lots of dancing then you will enjoy the entertainment, this year they had a night of live music which was a nice change, but could still have a bit more variety acts,( but that's my preference ), karaoke night. They have a white party night outside round pool so take your white outfits with you. You need to pay a deposit of 100 dirham per pool towel but you can change them as many times as you want. This is our 4th time with our grandson who is 14 years old. When i read negative reviews about this hotel I wonder what they really want sure everything is not always perfect but to say staff are not friendly they must be doing something wrong themselves. I cannot praise the staff enough. I could go on writing but all I need to say is we will go back for a fifth time so they are definitely doing something right. We'll done everyone
