We were really happy with Riad Chennaoui and would highly recommend it if like us, you are on an middle-range budget. We were only going to stay for 2 nights but stayed for 5. The manager and family that live there are warm and welcoming. We found the manager, Abdul to be extremely helpful, flexible and kind. I a city...

Myself and my wife had planned to stay for 4 nights over the new year but left after our first night – something we have never had to do in many years of international travel. Our room, and indeed much of the hotel smelt of sewage (which can happen in city's with less developed infrastructure – what was unacceptable was...

We stopped off in Marrakech for four days, and, at the suggestion of a friend we met in Casablanca, we went to Riad Chennaoui. Amazing experience. The Riad had great wifi, a very comfortable room, a very cool air conditioner, and a beautiful courtyard. The Riad was in the middle of the medina, and only a quick walk away from...

Good located beautiful Riad in the Medina near Palais Bahia. Very friendly staff - especially Abdul. And nobody try to sell anything ore wants to make any business ... ;-) The rooms are simple, but nice and not so small.

We stayed here in Sept 2011 as part of our honeymoon tour of morocco. We wanted somewhere to just freshen up and sleep. We spent all day and night out and about. We got to pick what ever room we wanted. we choose the largest room upstairs, one kingsize bed, with Moroccan sedari/beds used for additional guests. The Shower was...

We went there a couple of times when coming to Marrakech and it is a wonderful riad, not too far away from the centre of the medina. The terrace is great and spacious, with good views of the city. The inner courtyard is classic and beautiful, a very relaxed, chilled place to spend the evening after a busy day. Staff...

My friend and I (both recent college grads from America) stayed in Riad Chennaoui when we visited Marrakech in February 2011. The riad is really beautiful and the terrace is amazing, with gorgeous views! I booked an 8 person room (I think) and it was actually two different rooms with four beds each. The rooms were really basic but clean...

I've stayed in a luxury Riad (Julia) and Ive stayed here in one of the cheapest rooms but I would go for this one. Dont get me wrong, the room wasnt very good at all and everyone sharing had to also listen to each other use the toilet with only a curtain inbetween. What makes this riad worthwhile is that...

The medina in Marrakech is a tough place for budget travelers as many riads are very expensive. Riad Chennaoui is a work in progress. We paid 550 MAD for a triple room en suite, not including breakfast. The riad itself is very airy and has a great roofdeck, as well as free wi-fi and cable. Unfortunately when we were there...

this riad is in a good location, thats about it. The 'charming' manager sold us a tour that was quoted in Dirham and was changed to Euros on our return, an absolute and complete stitch up ! His mate the driver was also Mr Smooth, we were VERY RIPPED OFF.Very dissapointed and a considerable amount of euros poorer. The hammam...

“You have to walk through narrow walkways to get to the riad. Initially, we (2 girls) felt really unsafe but after the second night we realised it was fine, even if there were people out and talking to you, that's all it is; felt much safer here than back at home.”
