We stayed at Dar Seffarine this October for 3 nights. It was the first and best stay of our entire trip. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The architecture and decor was stunning! We mostly (and recommend) eating with the group at Dar Seffarine for dinner. The food was delicious! We definitely recommend Fez and Dar Seffarine as a...

Excelente riad and location. It is in an old and beautiful restaured house in the medina. The taxi drivers are steps away from the riad. The dinner in the riad it´s worth the money you are paying for and delicious. The owners Alla and Kate do everything to help you around, also the crew working there. They all speak english.if we go...

If Fes itself weren't mind-blowing enough, Dar Seffarine would make it so. The word "Dar" simply means house. I would describe Dar Seffarine as more of a Riad, or a kind of palace with interior courtyard. Simply walking from the incredibly strange, dark maze of Fes' alleyways through the door into this incredible hostelry was by itself one of the...

We entered the Fes medina at night, from near the tannery, and wondered what we were getting ourselves into. Avoiding the donkeys (and their gifts), we followed our guide through the dark tunnels and finally ended at a door in a particularly dark tunnel. When the door opened, we stepped into the unreal world of a beautifully restored home. We...

With all due respect to 'spunkydunky's review, I feel I simply MUST respond to it. I was staying at Dar Sefferine at the same time and have a very different perspective on the situation. Breakfast at the Dar is a cornucopia of delights. An array of fresh seasonal fruit such as melon, grapes, sweet oranges, peaches, pears etc. delicious cooked...

We have just returned from a wounderfull stay in the dar Seffarine Riad. We had the most enjoyable relaxing time. The accommodation was stunning, we had the large suit and fell in love with it. The roof top terrace must be one of the best veiws in Fes, with comfortable chairs and excellent service . The food was also high...

If you like to sit amongst other people's dirty plates and are expected to eat the leftover scraps of other people at breakfast, then this is the Riad for you. On our first morning we were confronted with the awkward situation of a communal table and no food as we arrived at 9.30 am when we told that breakfast would...

I agree with all the complimentary reviews. .Dar Seffarine is a beautiful inn, in a terrific location, serving fabulous food. I must mention, however, the most impressive part of our stay here was the great service by the staff. Mohamed, there's just no one like you! Thank you all for making our stay so memorable.
