Beautifully restored Riad guesthouse in the ancient medina with a 360 degree panoramic view from the furnished roof terrace, where drinks and breakfast are served. All rooms (4 suites and 1 double room) are decorated with traditional arts and crafts, intricate carved plaster, high cedar ceilings, mosaic tile floors, and hand-crafted furniture. At the heart of the Riad is an ornately tiled courtyard with a sunken fountain where our restaurant is located. The cuisine is French/Mediterranean with a Moroccan twist and dining with us is a highlight for our guests. Other amenities include an intimate salon with fireplace, large library, DVD/TV salon, roof-top BBQ, and free WiFi access. The managers provide a full concierge service to help our guests with any arrangements they might need and allow them to experience the best of the Fes Medina and surrounding areas.

The dar (house in Arabic) is incredibly beautiful, I've checked the pics. 100 times before going there and even though once you entry in the main salon is stunning. We also visited other dars and riats but there is no one like this one. The...More
This small hotel is truly special. The food is first class, the rooms are gorgeous, the location is a quiet oasis in the bustling city but what makes it outstanding are the people. All the staff will make you feel just like family.
Dar Roumana was the highlight of our trip to Fez. Everything, from the rooms to the food and service surpassed our expectations. One caveat, the first floor bedroom lacks privacy - - avoid it. You step out right into the dining area. We were only...More
Upon arrival to Fes we were taken care of so wonderfully by the Riad's staff. It was a wonderful quiet oasis on the edge of the Medina with the most spectacular view from the roof. The dinner was wonderful, very tasty and so incredibly reasonably...More

It's a short walk from the nearest gate to Dar Roumana. The gates having parking lots, though I'm sure you have to pay someone to keep an eye on the car. If you have a cell you'll be set as you can call the Dar to alert them... More
It's a short walk from the nearest gate to Dar Roumana. The gates having parking lots, though I'm sure you have to pay someone to keep an eye on the car. If you have a cell you'll be set as you can call the Dar to alert them of your arrival. If you don't it could be problematic as nothing is easy to find on your first entrance into the medina. Vanessa is terrific, alert her to your plans and I'm sure she'll help you figure it all out. ENJOY!
