Avoid this trap! We booked a day trip out of Fez with a tour Company who had nice reviews in Tripadvisor.... But when we arrived to this Riad we been told that the price we booked the trip for is very expensive as they offered the same trip for cheaper price, so we cancelled the first booking and book their... This 800 year old Riad is beautifully restored and is ideally located just inside the Medina. It offers a sanctuary from the mayhem of the Medina but within a short walk of all the action. Facilities are good but the star feature of this Riad are the two staff, Rashid and Olia, who attended our every need/wish with friendship and... More

This was our first visit to Morocco and were exhausted after almost 12 hours of travelling. As we walked to the riad, I have to admit we were a bit skeptical. However, the riad was a visual treat! Tiles, inlay, painted ceilings, carved wooden doors and windows, gave testimony to the hard work and love that was put into the... More

Only stayed here for one quick night, but the Riad was clean and very well maintained and decorated. The common area when you first walked in was very large and open air. They were also able to accommodate us by serving us an early breakfast as we were leaving on a desert tour very early in the morning. I wish... More

Everything has the unique decor and detail of Morocco. Comfortable, beautiful, elegant, enjoyable. Modern facilities, good size bath with jets and shower hose. Refrigerator in room. Hosts are available but not hovering. We enjoyed the breakfast and one wonderful Moroccan dinner.

Great setting -- old ryad in Andaluso - Arab style, well restored and well kept by the owner who lives on site. Conveniently located at the edge of the medina -- a good place from which to start your explorations. There are a number of small restaurants within walking distance. The owner -- Mohammed - lives on site and is... More

This was my second visit to Dar AlAndalous. I fell in love with Fes many years ago and have kept coming back. You never finish visiting this ancient city. I've stayed in many of the top hotels and riads in Fes - and this is the only one I've gone back to. Firstly it's in a very good and safe... More

You don't need to worry about security here. Everyone has to ring the doorbell to get in. You will be met by Rachid, Hassan (porters) or Zahra Alami (receptionist) and there is CCTV coverage in the public rooms. A wonderful looking Dar (courtyard house) that took two years for the present owner to restore and convert. Essentially two houses knocked... More

A very comfortable suite in a charming ryad in the medina in Fes. The staff were very caring and helpful. Fes is a most interesting city and a good centre for visiting the Middle atlas and other places such as Volubilis and Meknes.
