After a not so nice experience at a riad in the old medina of Fez we found out about Youth Hostel Fes by chance. I saw it on Google Maps when we were in the new neighbourhood so we decided to check it out. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and luckily there was still a 2p room available...

I have been there for 1 night. We arrived very late and didnt have a reservation. Anyway we got a cheap room, and the host was offering us mint-tea for free. Breakfast was also included and very good (Chocolate-Crossains, Juice, Tea/Coffee). The Host was very very friendly and recommended us a lot of useful things! There are many showers and...

Short walk from the main train station up to the youth hostel. There are a few resteraunts nearby. No frills accommodation great for meeting other travellers. Easy to walk / get around Fes. Given the budget I think it was a reliable place to stay again.

The Hi Hostel is a good place to stay for backpackers and all young people. It is cheap, but the service is good. The hostel is located in the "ville nouvelle", but the medina is reached within 20 min of walk or easily by taxi. Abdullah and his friendly team will give you a warm welcome and lots of tips...

This youth hostel is the best value I've ever received during my travels. The country can be troublesome to navigate, but Abdoullah and Khaoula (the employees) were so helpful that I'm writing this review. Morocco is not the easiest place to be for an American, but they made me feel at home and gave me all the tips/advice to properly...

Staff incredible helpful and friendly, especially Abdullah who will help with any trips or travel, it was very clean and central in Fes. It is just of the main road but I think this stops a lot of people staying here which I don't see why as only a 10DH taxi ride away from the train station. Really nice social...

This place is a little jewel providing good, safe and clean accomodation in a good area convenient for Fes Mainline Station and the No. 9 bus stop to take you to the main souks and markets. Its short on frills and bells and whistles but what it does provide is first class. Abdullah is a gem - let him know...

The only plus in my opinion is that the hostel is very neat. We didn't really trust the staff and they had all these ridiculous rules: shower between 9 and 10 (am and pm), we couldn't stay in the hostel certain hours in the afternoon, the common/tv-room was "private" and when it rained we had to eat our breakfast in...

We spent two nights in this youth hostel and we are very enthusiastic about this accommodation!!! Of course normally we are used to sleep in hotels, but for two nights the four-bed room was absolutely good. The price is unbeatable and a good breakfast is also included. Furthermore the location and the service was very good. The only point are...
