We stayed in the library room for 3 nights in early December. Everything about our stay was excellent. Room was grand and comfortable - since Riad was rather empty we also had a rather private adjoining library/sitting room as well as an outdoor patio/balcony. Breakfast was large and delicious - all the staff were friendly and helpful and interesting. My...

Out of the many options in Fes, my boyfriend and I could not have been more thrilled with our choice to stay at Riad Idrissy for 4 nights. Everything from the outer gate to the garden entrance to the center courtyard immerses you in authentic, traditional Moroccan design and decor that generates a calm sense of wonder and appreciation. The...

We spent four glorious nights in Fes in the terrace room at Riad Idrissy in early Nove. The Riad is a Sanctuary in the middle of the Medina. Woken each morning by the chorus from the various mosques call to pray, a swoop of swallows overhead. The Riad has been very beautifully restored, in lush colours the details a feast...

A beautiful room in a beautiful house in a beautiful city. My friend and I are 40 something designers from NY, and we found the Riad Idrissy to be a total charmer. The interiors are unpretentious and casual, but thoughtfully designed. All of the staff was helpful, sweet and friendly. It was our first trip to Fez, and though our...

My husband and I stayed at Riad Idrissy for two nights at the end of November, and we agree that it is by far one of the loveliest, most special hotels we've ever stayed at. If we could rate it more than 5 stars, we would! Needless to say, the grounds of the Riad are amazing and full of charm...

We stayed her for four days two weeks ago and they remain some of the happiest days in our lives. All praise for the welcome, the beautiful rooms, the delicious food. But more than this, it is the warmth and love you receive from everyone which make it a transforming experience. You have to drag yourself away to go and...

I cannot rave enough about Riad Idrissy for several reasons: firstly, the team led by Sue Bail are kind, warm and very caring as I discovered during a health drama when even the cook got involved and hugged me when I recovered. Secondly the food: marvelous breakfasts eggs baked with tomato and cumin and selection of wonderful breads, delicious fragrant...

The name is actually Riad Idrissy & The Ruined Garden as there is another riad in Fes with the name Riad Idrissy. It's a perfect place to stay while in the busy Fes Medina. The centuries-old house has been beautifully rehabbed. The rooms are a little magical as you are transported into another day and time while enjoying modern comfort....
