My husband and I stayed at the Dar Lalla Kenza for two nights and it was great! Unfortunately, we arrived to the riad only very late, but Rita stayed up to open the door for us on both occassions. In addition to this, she upgraded our booking (6-bed dorm) to a private room on both nights, which we were so...

I travel frequently and rarely write reviews unless things are really bad. There was one sleazy guy working here/running the place, who, as a woman travelling alone, made me feel so uncomfortable I had to leave early. I strongly recommend any women travelling in Morocco to look elsewhere. And not only did he behave inappropriately towards the guests, but I...

I have enjoyed my stay so much, the place is very nicely decorated and well taken care of, the staff are very helpful, polite and nice; Rita and Omar were great hosts making one feel at home. Breakfast is good and fulfilling, the main drawbacks are; 1. the hotel location which is not easy to find made me uncomfortable as...

I have contacted the staff at around 11pm to ask them about the checking in time. They said it is midnight. When I hang up, I received a call from another person. She was yelling at me and telling me that I should checkin now. I felt that the person is not professional and rude. I decided to give up...

My friend and I stayed at this hostel for 2 nights. Clean, beds comfy, really chilled terrace, amazing breakfast for cheap price, and best of all, Omaar was so welcoming and helpful, and had the best music playing in reception area! The building itself has the Moroccan style and has good wifi, hot water etc. Would definitely recommend and return!

This is a lovely old authentic building, not heavily restored, which is as I prefer. Pleasant rooftop terrace. Seems to attract a friendly crowd. Whilst offering hostel dorms I took a private double for €30pn. The room was simply vast with three large shuttered windows overlooking the internal courtyard. Always hot water. At a 'standard' riad I imagine you might...

It is a beautiful Riad and Omar was very helpful and pleasant. If it wasn't for meeting Ben on my second day I would happily have stayed there longer, but unfortunately I feel uncomfortable even thinking about my stay as I was put off by his behaviour. I actually checked into a Riad round the corner the following morning instead...

first I will write the bad things about Dar Lalla Kenza, Fez, Marocco, later the good. it was very rude of Ben (who runs the hostel) to tell me I was in a female dormitory but then, 15 minutes later, he walked in unannounced. no knock or request to come in. what's more he was bringing in a man to...
