Peaceful. Beautiful. Relaxing. Driss was very available and helpful. good breakfast. good recommendations. I do think I will stay away from the Medina on the next visit and explore more of the modern city. All Moroccan cities seem beautiful, well organized, open. Instead of focusing on the market stalls and the stress of haggling, the newer, built-up areas also deserve...

Driss the manager was excellent, couldn't be more obliging. Stopped for 1 night travelling through Morocco last week, great location and nice room. Only (strange) note - shower didn't have any place to hang, so had to hold all the time. Would recommend!

On arrival (from bus station) we were warmly greeted by Driss and Christian and made to feel at home. With a cup of mint tea Driss explained all about La Maison Maure plus what to see in Fez and how to travel around the medina. La Maison Maure is decorated in a modern style not in typical Moroccan style. We...

Maison Maure in a few words has a very friendly welcome and owner, is beautiful and tastefully decorated, is situated on a very quiet street, is small-scale because of only 5 rooms and gives you a true home feeling. One of the best locations we had in Morocco. We would definitely go again if we visited Fes. If you go,...

Great hotel, perfect location.BUT big BUT be very careful if you arrange a driver through the hotel. In our case we agreed a rate for an 8 night trip with Driss at the hotel, the driver was excellent but when it came to settle up with the driver, lo and behold, he wanted to be paid for the 9 days...

If you're looking for quiet place in the medina, where you can rest your body and mind, then you should seriously consider this place. I stayed there for 3 nights, and the owner, Cristian, and the manager, Driss, totally made sure that we enjoy our experience in Fez. The location is superb, not far from the Blue gate, where most...

I stayed at the Maison Maure during the World Sacred Music Festival and it was an incredible experience. The host Christian showed us around and hosted us on his terrace nightly. The house itself is impeccable a perfect blend of Moroccan style juxtaposed with a European flavor. Everything is exquisite... the highlight in addition to the luxurious rooms with French...

The hotel it's self is very nice. We stayed one night at tjis hotel. The manager Driss told us that he would organise an early breakfast for us at 7.30 and and transport to the train station the day of our departure. Neither of which eventuated. Driss was nowhere to be seen. As he never appeared we did mot recieve...

Since we arrived we felt at home. We were welcomed with magnificent mint tea by the friendly staff. The renovation of the house is beautifully done and our bedroom was a masterpiece. The breakfast, included in the price, is a different experience of local products every day which helps you start your day with a smile. It was one of...
