We only stayed for one night. It was sufficient to feel like home. Room was lovely: not very big but perfectly spaced out and decorated, easy to warm up (in February it's important!), even with a TV and a safe (the only one seen in hotel rooms in Morocco during our trip). Nice terrace, free water and tea. The breakfast...

This was just what we needed after our long flight and then taxi ride from Rabat. It is simply beautiful. We were welcomed with mint tea and cookies before we needed to face any paperwork. Rooms were lovely (a little small for US typical) bathrooms clean and beautiful. We had asked for supper there, which was plentiful and delicious. The...

First time in Fes, my Arabic isn't that good. Luckily the owner, Mohammed, speaks English, French, Spanish and of course Arabic. I was received as family when I came into the hotel and during my entire stay. While checking in, the hostess offered me some moroccan tea and sweets. The owner gave me a map of Fes and told me...

Very warm welcome by Sidi Muhammad. He made us feel right at home with the awesome Moroccan Hospitality, great place, spacious, excellent and extensive breakfasts everyday. The rooms were very cleans and authentic decors all over the place. Loved the taste! My family loved the atmosphere and enjoyed the relaxing Moroccan mint tea with cookies served every time we came...

Dar Fes Medina is a nice and cosy place to stay, especially after hours of wandering in the busy medina. Mohamed, Imane and all the staff are charming and helpful, in our case they helped us to book a last minute guided visit which we enjoyed, shared recommendations on where to have a nice dinner, etc. The hotel is very...

Let's start from the location. In a city known for its complex maze-like streets, it's always good to know your Riad is only steps away from a taxi drop off location (Bab Ziat). Exactly like what's been described in LP as a Riad where the modern and traditional worlds meet, the Riad is new and old and the same time...

Now, grant it, we were only in Fes for three days, but, from beginning to end, the hospitality and experience was incredible. Imane and Mohammad welcomed us with open arms and sat with us for a while to drink mint tea and chat a bit. They said we were like family, staying there, and it truly felt that way. The...

It's a beautiful riad, with a very welcoming host. When we mentioned we wanted to visit the tanneries, the owner drove us to the other side of the medina. Peaceful location within a 10 minute walk of the Blue Gate area of the medina.
