We spent 4 days at Riad Alya, and felt so welcomed by all of the people who worked there. They became our friends and family for our time in Fes. Hassnae, Omar, Ahlam, and Lassan were wonderful and helpful. And the riad itself is beautiful, with its pretty couryard full of mosaics and plaster work, and the peaceful rooftop terrace,...

Fantastic location on the edge of the medina. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. Breakfast on the terrace is a wonderful way to start the day. We took dinner in the riad one night - also on the terrace - which was very nice indeed. The staff are all very friendly and keen to help. Recommended.

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. It's in a great location, in the medina, the rooms, terrace and common areas are beautiful, the food is really delicious and the staff are just incredible - kind, helpful and very accommodating. I highly recommend this ryad and will definitely stay there if we return to Fes.

Not only was the location superb, and the views from the roof terrace incredible, the staff were all so exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The bedroom and bathroom were large and well appointed, and the communal areas were stunning. Along with all of this, although there is a no animal policy in the riad, when I...

Beautiful Riad. The service was amazing from all the staff. They even offered options for my gluten allergies and made gluten free Moroccan dinner for me. The rooms are great and they have a good location. When we go back we will stay at Riad Alya!

Ryad Alya is a work of art: the interior shows true craftsmanship and is a great demonstration of Moroccan decor. The terrace has lovely views of the city. Ryad Alya is centrally located, one of the main entrances to the souk is less than a 10 minute walk and is easily navigated. The staff was very accommodating and they were...

We stayed in the Fes Suite which is right on the ground floor and all 3 nights noise from a large group that lasted until 11:30/12 kept us awake :( it was disappointing that the staff didn't try to keep them more quiet as it got so late. With that said, the Ryad is gorgeous and Hassnae is fantastic -...

My sister and I stayed here for three nights and every single night was so loud due to other guest activity that we barely slept. The staff acknowledged it and apologized after the first night but each night after they did nothing to stop the noise. Dishes clanking, guests laughing and stomping all night. It was a large party, yes,...

A place out of your dreams; the ryad is beautiful  and every little detail  in the deco contributes in creating a magical atmosphere. I stayed in the Tanger room. I believe this contributed to my dislike of Fes as the room had no window and the bathroom was a level up 19 stairs. This was inconvenient for getting ready in the morning or if you had to get up during the night. The rooftop terrace was nice. The ryad is conveniently located and...

“I booked a room with a double bed. We got an isle that had been accommodated as a room. One bed as you passed the door and the other one at the end of the isle. One of the beds was awful. That is not a room. Not good at all. The personnel were extremely helpful. They tried to fix the bed as soon as I told them about it. They also gave us some instructions that were helpful. ”
