This place is the one anyone should be when in Morocco: the Riad is beautiful, in the Medina of Fes, with an amazing terrace overlooking the old city, but very quite and far away from any noise. When you walk that door, you actually feel like being in another world. In addition, the owners (Laurence and Bernard) are amazing, nice...

We stayed three nights at dar melody. The house gives a very good taste of a traditional dar with a beautifully renovated patio. The roof terrace is perfect to relax after a day walking in the medina. The rooms are spacious and breakfast huge and tasty! Our hosts were also very helpful for tips and advice. Recommended.

Just superb! Spacious, elegant room in a ryad with lovely historical charm in the Medina. Thoroughly enjoyed the gourmet breakfasts. A special place that leaves warm memories. My hosts also took care to arrange a porter to carry my bags from the taxi to the ryad!

I stayed four days at Dar Melody and enjoyed all of them. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated. But the biggest treat is the superb breakfast prepared every morning by Laurence and Bernard! The house is located in a residential area but on walking distance from Seffarine square. The next time I come to Fes I have a home...

Bernard and Laurence are an incredibly fun couple and it rubs off onto their guests. They bought this house and then spent one and half years renovating and then another 6 months decorating into one of the best riads we stayed at on our 4 week Morocco holiday. The four post bed in the very spacious and beautiful bedroom (with...

This was our second stay at Dar Melody in a year. We returned because Bernard and Laurence were so welcoming the last time we visited. They did not let us down this time either. The Riad is situated in the heart of the medina down a little back street, so it is quiet but easy to access the tanneries. The...

Beautifully renovated, centuries-old home in a quiet neighbourhood on the edge of the medina. Our room had a huge private terrace and all the amenities one could expect in such a place. The best breakfasts of the trip. Our hosts were gracious, friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. They speak French and good English. We arrived late in the...

The moment we arrived we made feel very welcomed. We had the terrace room, which is beautiful decorated and there were even some sweets waiting for us. The terrace itself is open for everybody and is really welcoming and comfy. We booked a guide for a half day tour with them and the guide turned out great. Last but not...

Large rooms, comfortable beds, hot water,a roof terrace which is lovely for looking over the medina by night. Good location in quiet part of Fes. Our favorite place in Morocco thus far. If you are offered quiche for breakfast leap at it, it...

Dar Melody is situated in the heart of the medina in Fes. The rooms are spacious, clean and authentic, and the roof terrace an oasis of calm. Bernard and Laurence were superb hosts, showing us around the riad and booking a a tour guide and restaurant for the nights we were there. The breakfasts were the best we have had...
