Hello! My friends and I are traveling to Fes next month and we are looking to book a traditional Hammam experience in advance. Has anyone else done this with Fiad Fes Maya? They are asking for my credit card information via email to put a deposit down on our services. I'm unsure I feel super comfortable sending this information in an email, but I don't know that I have the choice if I want to book in advance with them. Has anyone else done this? Run into any issues? Thank you!

Hi, Are there a lot of steps to reach the room? And does the toilet have a walk in shower or a tub. Thanks.

There is only 3 floors before you reach the terrace and there is a tiny tiny elevator so you don’t need to worry about carrying luggage by yourself. The bathroom is well equipped with everything , tub , shower, etc. maybe little difference depending on the room type you booked.

Is this Riad outside of the walls of the Medina? Is it easy to go into the Medina for dinners? I don't think I understand the geography of the area!

Agreed. It is about a 10 minute walk at the most to one of the main gates of the Medina. The Riad itself has an excellent roof top restaurant with great views. There are other riads with restaurants close by as well. There is a dinner show restaurant about 2 blocks towards the Medina on the right hand side and up a little side street which is pretty good. I don’t have the name now but book and sit on the lower level. I am not sure what you will find in the Medina for dinners. It is chaotic, confusing, a maze and over 9000 alleyways and little lanes. Hire a guide to take you through the Medina or you will get lost. We did not see any dining type places in the Medina itself. But there could have been somewhere in there! It’s an amazing place, have fun!

Beautiful Place

The riad is amazingly beautiful for starters, ornate and truly a feast for the eyes. Beyond that, the service is superb! Anna helped with anything we needed or were interested in ; she’s a great asset and a wealth of knowledge. Everyone at the riad was really great, we highly recommend staying here!!

Amazing Riad in Fes

I would highly recommend staying at Fes Maya. The location is excellent; right outside the Medina with a parking lot about a 3 minute walk away. It’s a well lit area so you feel safe, and it’s less than a minute walk away from the Medina. The service is amazing. The hostess, Anna, is always available...not sure if she ever sleeps lol. She was very courteous and accommodating. She helped us take care of everything we needed. Hamid, one of the helpers, was also amazing and helpful. The Riad itself is gorgeous; you’ll feel like you are staying in a historical site. The ceilings and decoration create a very scenic and comfortable environment. We stayed in the Ambassador Suite and could not believe how much space we had. It was such a nice room with every amenity you could think of. It was two of us and a baby, and that room was more than suffice. Riad Fes Maya is not the cheapest Riad in the area, but because of the great location, service, and accommodation, I believe it is well worth the extra money. I would highly recommend staying at Riad Fes Maya; you will not be disappointed.…

Beautiful room and Riad, excellent service, highly recommend!

This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed! The room is beautifully decorated, spacious, and very comfortable, the service is impeccable (everyone is so friendly and helpful, especially Anna), and the breakfast on the terrace is delicious with really good coffee! There is good hot water pressure in the shower, a mini bar in your room, strong WIFI on every floor, and you can buy local wines and beer here to drink on the rooftop with a view that you can’t beat. It’s located at a great place in the Médina because it’s close to the entrance, easy to find, and near lots of food options. We also booked a hammam here and loved it. We can’t recommend this Riad highly enough. It is one of a kind and you’ll never want to leave!

Wonderful place, best view in town

This is the best place we have visited in Fes! Definitely come if you want a view, peace, and wonder people and food in Fes! We came in through the old town. And my lovely girlfriend found this place. It was widely eye opening experience of getting on the roof top seeing the view and feeling the touch of breeze! Highly recommended!

Very beautiful riad, nice room and comfortable, good view at the rooftop, very good location and convenient to the old city center. Nice and friend manager Anna hamid and ayman and we hope we can come back again soon
