Wonderful "on campus" location. Got a great feel of campus life. Only problem with late arrival is that we had to eat @ the Pizza Pit...which reared (emphasis on "rear") its ugly head all next day during ISU tour. Good parking. Breakfast was good. Lovely atmosphere, renovated frat house. Stayed in 303, king bed (for me!!) and loft with futon...

We stayed when we went to Ames for campus visit of ISU. Iowa House is a great place to stay if you stay around the campus area. Restaurants, bars, campus is all about 2-3 blocks from the home. Clean rooms. The breakfast was really good made by a chef that served when you sat on the table. Great place with...

Stayed for a girl's weekend while visiting a student. The property is lovely and couldn't be closer to campus without being on it. The living room and dining room are very well furnished, comfortable and very inviting. We hung out there quite a bit and enjoyed the coffee/tea/light snacks offered all day. Like being home without all the work. We...

I have been traveling on business for over 30 years. Never have I experienced the hospitality, and comfort on the road as I did at Iowa House Ames. Monty and Tana (owners) and the staff were wonderful. The rooms were very nice. I don't know what they do with their beds, I suspect it has something to do with mattress...

Love staying at the Iowa House when visiting the kids at ISU. Wonderful accommodations and conveniently close to campus. Great snacks avaliable all the time and a wonderful breakfast and awesome coffee. Also, the large lower area with big screen tv is great to have when the kids come over to visit with us.

It was so inviting and beautiful. I slept great and enjoyed a good quiet night. We then woke up to a nice breakfast and spread of food. The chef was so nice. Everything about this place was great. I highly recommend staying here vs. a corporate hotel. I can't wait to come back in the fall.

Excellent place to stay, very close to the ISU campus. Our son attends ISU now and our daughter will soon be a Cyclone too! Took my husband and I back to the days we were students at ISU. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and talking with other ISU parents.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean with a homey atmosphere. There was an excellent breakfast with chef on site. This bed and breakfast was right by Iowa state campus. All and all a wonderful experience. Will definitely stay there again !

Prefect for a parent or family visit to Iowa State for a campus visit or orientation. It is close to Campustown and Campus. If you have children at the Iowa state or are planning to attend this is a great place to get an overall feel for the college and the surrounding town.

Thanks to the staff at Iowa House for a great stay - all were so welcoming and accommodating. I had time-sensitive work to get done and my room was perfect for the task: spacious, quiet, and welcoming. The staff were delightful and the breakfast scrumptious. The common spaces - and the rooms - were gorgeously appointed...I would come back in...
