I can't remember the last time I slept so well in a hotel/motel...comfy beds and pillows. Manny is an outgoing and very helpful manager which makes his guests feel very welcome. This isn't a fancy place, but it has everything you'll need at a fair price.

We chose the Guest House Motel initially for its location. It is located centrally in the town and therefore everything was easy to walk to. The owner, Mani, was friendly, helpful, accommodating and informative. He made us feel at home. The room was adequate for our needs and was very clean. The room rate was reasonable as well. It was...

Very nice hotel. New management has does wonders with the hotel. Many new additions like hand bars in bathrooms, new carpets, very clean and quiet. I asked to be on first level and I booked two rooms and requested that the room were next to each other, and was accommodated. Best of all the owner was very pleasant and helpful...

We stayed at the Guest House Motel and had a wonderful experience. The owner was very helpful with information about the Amana area and was very friendly and cordial. The rooms were very clean. The motel was close to all of the stores and were within walking distance.

We had to change our original Spring Break plans and asked our 14 and 11 year old if they would rather go to Kansas City or Amana and they both said "AMANA!"🙂 So we booked a room at the only place we have stayed at least twice a year for the last 5 years. It is in such a great...

There's not too much to brag about this place except for the $75 price. However, when booked I was told it was a queen bed, it was a double. The mattress was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood and the place isn't very insulated and kept the heater that was set on about 65 degrees running all night. Convenience-...

Hi Mr James Wester, Thank you for your feedback but you went beyond things which does not represent our Motel...Probably you were expecting HILTON OR MARRIOTT properties in the AMANA COLONIES,which is known for its old heritage and unique history. Now We could definitely see why you have given 3 stars to OX YOKE INN ,2 stars to PHAT DADDY...

Excellent place to stay. Owner went above and beyond to accommodate us. Even called to see what time we expected to arrive and to make sure we had eaten before arriving since the restaurants would be closed.

We planned a stay here for a family gathering which unfortunately turned into the family gathering for a funeral. The staff accommodated us when our plans changed with the death in the family. They provided all the amenities we needed and didn't charge us for a last minute cancellation of one room. While the rooms could use a little updating;...

Came to Amana to travel back in time and see how the early German settlers lived, worked and enjoyed life. I was treated to an unforgettable experience, made memorable in large part by the wonderful staff at the motel. I got excellent tips about the area, its history and things to do. The basic accommodations at this historic motel are...
