We arrived, I didn't book online but had looked at the pricing, the clerk wanted to charge me a price higher than the online value. The lobby smells like choline because the pool is part of the large atrium lobby. The room we stayed in was nice. The pool needed to be relined.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We do offer online pricing, but sometimes must keep those to online booking only. I am glad to hear that you were able to get a valued rate after all. We are doing some renovation to our atrium area which will include the painting of the pool, we typically do this in December...

Just 20 mins outside of STL, makes this a perfect overnight stay. Far enough to get out of the city, but close enough to be near whatever your STL plans are. Entire hotel staff was amazing and helpful, going above and beyond my expectations. Lobby has a large indoor pool. Hot breakfast buffet in the morning with eggs, hash, bacon,...

We stay here all the time when coming to Alton. Our new renovated room was beautiful!!! Decided to stay 2 nights! The huge downfall was the breakfast!! It was cold, the bacon was all clumped together, the sweet rolls were dried out and floppy, the only fruit was oranges. I wish they had bagels, pancakes, toast, different kinds of fruit....

We hope we get the chance to serve you again in the future and to show you how well we can do breakfast.

I had an "Atrium" room on the 2nd floor. Just above the swimming pool... A pool full of screaming people both little and large. IIRC, the pool closes at 10pm thru the week but not until 11pm on the weekend. Not a very good situation for those of us working 7 days/wk. I had written this review earlier but found...

Thank you for your review. I'm not sure why your review was removed except for that Tripadvisor updated the incorrect listing (we have two, one for our hotel, and the other for our restaurant Great Rivers Tap & Grill). We have renovated both, so with that, Tripadvisor allows us to update our listing information as well as taking reviews off...

This place is newly renovated and beautifully decorated. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were big enough and had a fridge, but no microwave. Our room had a walk-in shower which we all loved. Clean indoor pool. Free laundry as well, which we used. The only improvement that could possibly be made would be to throw in a free...

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are in the process of making sure every room has a microwave, we just finished renovation on some of the sleeping rooms and were awaiting the order of microwaves. We are very happy that you were comfortable while staying with us and hope that you will stay with us again in the...

My stay at the The Atrium Hotel & Conference Center in Alton, IL was just what I needed after a long day on the road from Pittsburgh, PA with a big crew. The hospitality was spot on and front desk was extremely kind and courteous upon our midnight check in. We were very pleased and comfortable in our rooms and...
