La Moskitia Ecoaventuras is an incredible place. It is surrounded by breathtaking beauty and run by some of the most warm, welcoming, and incredible people. I've been lucky enough to visit them twice, the first time I went white water rafting (which is amazing and a must when in La Ceiba!!) and the second time I got to actually stay...

If you're in Honduras, you have to go white water rafting! I hadn't done it in 6 years & forgot how fun it was - and how wet you get! Thanks to our awesome guide, we didn't fall into the water though! Seriously, the crew at La Moskitia Ecoaventuras work really hard on the water & also carrying the rafts...

We went for a day trip: Jorge picked us up, got us ready and left us with his trusty guides for the rafting, met us with a sandwich lunch, and again to drop us off. Uncomplicated and a memorable experience. Beautiful river with some excitement, but never felt dangerous (I am 55). My 15 year old also loved it. Very...

It was a fun and thrilling rafting experience. They picked us up from our lodging and took us to the location and drove us back. Great guides with 2 spotters in kayaks to look out for our safety. Good NRS life jackets and helmets. Had a nice safety explanation before. Beautiful views and some nice rapids. I would highly recommend...

We spent only one night in a tent in La Moskitia and it was very short. I can imagine a week there. Jorge is an amazing guy with incredible knowledge about nature. He picked us up at La Ceiba ferry and spent time with us. The white river rafting was beautiful, we felt very safe and in very good hands....

We stayed 2 nights at Jorge's river lodge, on the Cangrejal, just outside of La Ceiba. The river is amazing, running fast and cool and teeming with surrounding wildlife. Viktor, Christian and Dennis, showed us a great time during our white-water rafting experience, and we spent some time on our own exploring the river and the rainforest around it. We...

We booked a rafting trip with Jorge. Just when we arrived (after 3pm) we where informed that staying at the jungle lodge was not possible of the late arrival time. This was a bit of a disappointment. The next day rafting made up for that, really cool long trip with local guides. Jorge teaches them how to raft and kayak...

Great trip to Rio Cangrejal organised by George and Moskitia Tours. George picked us up from the ferry terminal in La Ceiba and even drive us to the market for supplies and cash in the way to the lodge. We did an up-river hike through the water with lots of jumping and sliding in. Followed by an hour or so...

I was in Utila with some friends and we wanted to go the jungle for a few days so we called around until finally found La Moskitia. George is a really friendly guy, he came and met us at the ferry upon arrival in la ceiba. He took us to the ATM and grocery store before heading up to his...

We were going to Utila as part of our month long adventure in Honduras, Nicaragua and Guatemala . . . so La Ceiba was the jumping off to Utila. I hadn't planned on spending any time in La Ceiba except catching the ferry--since we would have already done lots of hiking, rivers, nature, etc. However, I did some research and...
