Don Udo is a very gracious host who made us feel very welcome. His staff is very friendly and helpful. Few of them speak English, but they do their best to understand and be understood if you are not a Spanish speaker. The room was small and utilitarian but nice. It was equipped with a TV and air conditioning unit,...

We had a very pleasant three night stay at Don Udo's in March. The staff was all very accommodating and helpful, and everything was clean and inviting. The hotel is in a very quiet part of town. We also very much enjoyed the complementary breakfast and ate at the attached restaurant for another meal as well.

Lovely courtyard filled with flowers. Comfortable rooms and helpful staff make you feel at home. They serve meals on site and also make chocolates here too. What's not to love?!? Great lounging area up above the restaurant to view the city and relax in hammocks. Very relaxing.

All of the staff @ Don Udo's and Don Udo himself were the highlight of the Copan Runias Pilgrimage. Breakfast was excellent and graciously served as the light of day bearly eased over the walls of the city. The easy going Copanese People go about their day and time sort of slows. Chocolate chocolate chocolate...uuuuuummmmmmm!!!

After having stayed at Don Udo's twice and enjoying it, I was keen to return to the hotel on our trip to Copan Ruinas. I was a little disappointed in the double bed room that we stayed in. There was a stale smell to the room, perhaps from the mattress. However the staff was excellent as they responded to a...

It was our first time at Don Udo's and we had a lovely stay. I can't say enough about how warm and inviting the women working there are. Don Udo booked our reservation himself over the phone and was very hospitable and helpful. The room was very comfortable and meticulously clean (though smelled faintly of Raid at first, but that...

We came here by coincidence and fell in love with the design. It is one of the best places in Copán. Maybe it doesn't express the luxury and details that it has if you just pass trough the street. With a great mix of the culture that also can be tasted in their home-made chocolates that they produce. Rooms are...

We stayed here for four nights and would stay here again. Here is why: Included breakfast. We ate here every morning before heading out and it was always good. You can choose between eggs, tortillas and beans or fruit and sweet bread. Good strong cafe and OJ too. You can add more for very reasonable prices. Lovely rooms. We stayed...

The AC in addition to the fan came in handy. WiFi was strong, bed was comfortable. Great food at the restaurant, and a decent selection of beers. You can easily walk to Copan from anywhere in the town too.
